What happened during the week of August 4, 2014

Seeking to take advantage of the new hype around the diamond, Forrester decided to send Hope and Wyatt to Paris for a diamond photo shoot. Liam was despondent about the diamond and the trip, so Hope issued him an ultimatum to meet her in Paris if he wanted a future with her. Liam decided to surprise Hope in Paris by marrying her there. Quinn followed Liam and Ivy to Paris and pursued them as they ran through the Parisian streets to get to Hope on time. A cloaked Quinn shoved Ivy off a bridge, causing Liam to choose between meeting Hope or saving Ivy.

Daniel told Kristen that she had to pay for her crimes. Kristen told Daniel the truth about what she had done to ruin Eric and Brady's lives. J.J. had harsh words for Sami. Sami shocked Adrienne by making her think that Justin had had an affair with Kayla. Jordan got into a fight with Kate and slapped her. Rafe wanted answers from Sami about what she had said to Jordan, but Sami thought that Rafe wanted her back. Jordan told Rafe they were through. Ben beat up Rafe for cheating on Jordan. Sonny asked Victor for a favor, but he refused and told Sonny that it was in his and Will's best interest. Will decided to write the cover story about his mom and E.J. E.J. offered Victor a business deal. Eric's name was cleared. Eric, though grateful, told the cardinal that he could not return to the priesthood due to his mixed feelings for Nicole. Eric told a devastated Nicole that he hated her, and she was the reason that he could not return to the priesthood. E.J. thought he still had a chance with Sami until Kate stepped in. E.J. warned Kate that she would regret her actions. Eve and Jennifer had their day in court. Theresa tried to avoid Marlena when Marlena questioned her about John's accident. Paige told a shocked Eve and J.J. that she had decided not to attend Stanford in the fall.

Patrick and Sam went to the Crichton-Clark clinic to get some answers about Nina. Patrick was stunned when he bumped into Robin as she left her lab. Shocked, Robin demanded to know how Patrick had found her, but Patrick pushed his way into her lab to find Jason. Robin claimed that Jason had died after she'd been forced to give Jason an experimental drug protocol. Patrick realized that Robin didn't have any reason to continue to help Victor because Jason was dead, but Robin insisted that her work could save lives, so she needed to stay. Hurt, Patrick made it clear that he would file for divorce. Victor was pleased that Robin had lied to Patrick about Jason, but Robin accused Victor of being a monster for masterminding Patrick's crash that had killed Gabriel. Molly remembered the shocking confession Rafe made prior to the crash, so she told Silas. Nina spied on Sonny and Carly as Sonny kissed Carly to prove that she was not in love with Franco. Sonny arranged for a woman to pose as Mickey Diamond's sister to make certain that Alice received a new heart. Alexis confronted Julian with her suspicions that he had not left the mob. Julian confessed that he had lied to protect his family. Alexis ended things with Julian for the sake of her family, despite being in love with Julian. Josslyn told Cam that Spencer had been hiding out at her house, so Cam told his mother. Nikolas was overjoyed when Elizabeth returned Spencer to him. Britt was frustrated because Elizabeth had stolen Britt's thunder. Lucas settled the dispute between Felix and Brad by suggesting that he date both men. Shawn and Jordan made love. Dante and Lulu decided to move ahead with having a second child. Maxie and Levi's wedding day arrived.

The judge dismissed Ian's lawsuit against Nikki. Nikki was devastated when her journal was leaked to a tabloid. Nikki struggled with the temptation to drink. Christine was shocked when she found Nikki in Paul's arms during a vacation getaway. Ian taunted Dylan, who released his anger by trashing Crimson Lights. Austin simulated a Hawaiian honeymoon for Summer in their living room, and he informed her that his trial had been set for the following week. Billy exposed Stitch's lies to Barton, and Stitch was suspended from the hospital. Mariah made Nick's favorite dessert and pranced around in skimpy clothing. Nick learned that Mariah had lied about her mother being dead, but Sharon understood why Mariah had done so. Nick performed an online search for Mariah's mother, Helen. Sharon fired Dr. Mead after she caught the psychiatrist talking to Victor. Victoria returned to work as a distraction from her personal troubles. Victoria and Billy shared a kiss. Abby and Devon enjoyed a date, but they agreed they were just friends, and he admitted that he had feelings for a married woman. Hilary threw a drink on Lily. Cane and Lily argued about her preoccupation with Neil and Hilary's relationship. Hilary admitted that she loved Devon, and she prepared to end her marriage to Neil. Neil was knocked unconscious by an electrical spark at the dream house he'd bought for Hilary.
