Hope had intended to start a life with Liam, but upon learning that she was pregnant, she decided to continue the marriage to Wyatt. Liam became curious when he figured out that Hope hadn't told Wyatt about the pregnancy yet. Deacon reminded Brooke about his marriage proposal and asked her to say that she wanted to be his wife. Bill interrupted the moment with his own marriage proposal after he'd learned that Ridge was drawing again. Maya aroused suspicion within Katie about Caroline and Ridge's close partnership. Katie disliked Caroline's burgeoning enthusiasm for her synergy with Ridge, but Ridge asked Katie to understand that he was in a bind and needed Caroline to help him produce the line.

J.J. told Jennifer and Abigail about what had happened at the party. Jennifer chastised Daniel for keeping the incident from her. Eve remained determined to break up Paige and J.J. Caroline initially seemed supportive of Hope's decision to divorce Bo, but she changed her mind after realizing that Hope had agreed to go on a date with Aiden. John emerged from his coma but exhibited signs of memory loss. Theresa was thrilled with the development, but John later had a dream about an altercation at the Kiriakis mansion. Nicole encouraged Eric to double-cross Kristen, but he kept his end of the bargain. After getting advice from Kristen, Chad took a new approach to dealing with his enemies, pretending to be on Stefano's side while harboring his own agenda. Chad agreed to let Will write an article about him. Rafe showed signs of jealousy when he saw Chad flirting with Jordan. Kate had dinner with Clyde, who wanted to go into business with her. Clyde pitched E.J. a plan to increase profits, but E.J. dismissed the idea and belittled Clyde. Clyde later arranged a meeting with E.J.'s middleman, who seemed more receptive to Clyde's proposal. Kate complained to Clyde that she wanted E.J. to disappear. Sami and E.J. made love and later exchanged private vows and new rings. Susan unexpectedly showed up at the DiMera mansion to talk to E.J.

In the aftermath of the Crichton-Clark Clinic explosion, Robin and Jason made their way to Port Charles. Robin told Jason that Danny was his biological son and that Jason and Franco were not brothers. Robin realized that she and Jason were being followed so she instructed Jason to seek shelter with Sonny while Robin headed to her mother's suite. Helena and her henchmen thwarted Jason and Robin's efforts by recapturing the pair before Jason and Robin could make contact with their loved ones. Jason managed to escape by rolling out of a moving car. After Jason climbed up an embankment, he stumbled into the path of Ava's car as she fled from Sonny's men who had attempted to kidnap her. Ava reached out to Jordan for help, so Jordan took responsibility for the accident while Ava left the scene in another vehicle. Ava turned to Morgan for help. Due to Jason's injuries, no one recognized him as he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Patrick told Anna that Robin had been working at the clinic for Victor. Helena whisked Robin to Paris after forcing Robin to give Patrick and Anna a plausible explanation for Robin not returning home. Franco confronted Kiki about Sonny and Carly's tryst, so Kiki confirmed that it was true. Franco stunned everyone by proposing marriage to Carly during his birthday party. Sabrina waited anxiously for Ava to go into premature labor because of the pills that Sabrina had given Ava to take. Neither Julian nor Olivia was happy about Alexis and Ned's date. The impostor's lies began to catch up with him as people began to talk about Luke's odd behavior in recent months.

Michael secretly took medication to overcome his problems in the bedroom. Neil arranged for Jack to send Hilary on a business trip to New York. Billy and Chelsea spent their "first date" playing ball and making love. Stitch tried to make another confession to Victoria, but Maureen interrupted his attempt. Maureen pressured Stitch not to tell Victoria the whole truth. Victoria wondered if she'd made the right decision by pushing away both Billy and Stitch. Nikki showed up drunk at Crimson Lights, but she allowed Dylan to believe she was showing symptoms of a multiple sclerosis flareup. Christine was livid when she discovered that Paul had withheld evidence from her that linked Dylan to Ian's disappearance. Ian was presumed dead. Paul arrived to arrest Dylan, who offered his help to figure out what had happened to Ian. Mariah told Victor that Sharon had talked in her sleep about Faith not being Nick's daughter. Nikki caught Victor paying Mariah off. Mariah and Summer's animosity toward one another escalated when Sharon asked them both to be bridesmaids. Victor took Nick and Faith's DNA samples to Sweden for testing. Jack suggested that Kelly remodel the Abbott mansion to make her feel more at home. Phyllis was stunned to see the date on a newspaper, and she hitchhiked back to Genoa City.
