Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy) and wife Sheree have welcomed their third child. "Thanks for your prayers. Brooklyn Faith Burton has arrived," Burton wrote on Twitter in announcing the arrival of his daughter. "Momma and baby are doing great. Much luv."
In January, Burton nonchalantly announced that he and his wife were expecting during a tweet about football.
"Can't wait for the games today," Burton shared at the time, referring to the NFL Conference Championships. "[By the way] I'm having another kid...have a great day. God bless."
This is the third child for Burton and his wife, Sheree. Daughter Makena Grace was born in 2003, and son Jack Marshall was born in 2006.
Burton joined The Young and the Restless in January 2013. Prior to that, he enjoyed a lengthy run as General Hospital's Jason Morgan, exiting the role in October 2012.
