Days of our Lives star Lauren Koslow (Kate Roberts) paid tribute to a very special woman in her life. The actress' mother, Milli, recently passed away just two months shy of her 100th birthday.
Koslow took to Instagram to honor her mom with some heartfelt words and beautiful family photos taken through the years.
"My mom passed on last week just two months shy of her 100th trip around the sun birthday celebration," Koslow wrote. "It was unexpected exit even at her age but that was her style. Milli was one of the most spontaneous, dynamic, adventurous, complicated, passionate, funny & powerful women I've ever known -- an artist, storyteller, traveler & businesswoman. A mom, grandmother, and wife. I'll miss you forever and a day but I'm glad you're reunited with the love of your life -- kiss Daddy for us. I love you, mama."
Koslow's fellow soap stars offered their condolences, including DAYS' Thaao Penghlis (Tony and Andre DiMera), Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Brady Johnson), and Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson), as well as Kate Linder (Esther Valentine, The Young and the Restless) and Daniel McVicar (ex-Clarke Garrison, The Bold and the Beautiful).
Koslow, who has played Kate Roberts on DAYS since 1996, gave her mother a namesake when she and her husband, Nick Schillance, became parents to a daughter they named Millikate, who made Koslow a grandmother when little Sistine was born in January of this year. Before her DAYS career began, Koslow played Lindsay Wells on Y&R and Margo Lynley on B&B.
