General Hospital's Anna Devane is back on the canvas today after taking a long hiatus from Port Charles following the death of Ian Buchanan's Duke. But what will the future hold for the former police commissioner?
Portrayer Finola Hughes says there are certain things on the list that definitely need to be tackled. "Frank [Valentini, executive producer] gave me a call and said, 'This is what's happening initially,' and that's all I know," she told Soap Opera Digest. "Literally, I just jump back on the bike and I don't know what's around the corner, to use two metaphors [laughs]. I need a job, I need somewhere to live and I need a relationship, in that order."
She continues, "I've got some great stuff to do. I've only just started to get back into Anna's skin a little bit, but I've missed telling stories. I can't wait to be back, I really can't. I'm really looking forward to it."
Hughes left GH earlier this year to direct the new romantic comedy The Byrd and the Bee.
