Harley was expecting to be on a honeymoon by now, but her nasty ex-husband has ruined her summer. Despite her heartache at the hands of yet another Spaulding, it is good to see the Coopers rally around one another.

After twelve days on the road for vacation, I have finally made it back home again. It's funny how you can't wait to get away at the start of a vacation, and can't wait to get home at the end of it. But it looks like some of Springfield's residents might need to find time to get away soon -- they sure need it!

Phillip's vacation seems to have only made him nastier and greedier than ever. This is a character that I really have grown up with on GL, and I have to wonder why the show constantly wants to make him so unlikable. While I can see that he might not want to be married to Olivia anymore, he has to realize that she was protecting Emma from the wacky antics of Lizzie and went too far. But now it's Phillip who has really crossed the line -- wanting to re-make Springfield into some SpauldingTown he designed in his own warped mind. I think Phillip needs to shed the corporate look for some serious beach time -- I'll even buy the drinks with the little umbrellas in them if it will make him less of a pain in the butt!

Harley was expecting to be on a honeymoon by now, but her nasty ex-husband has ruined her summer. But, despite her heartache at the hands of yet another Spaulding, it is good to see the Coopers rally around one another. Now that all three Coopers (make that four -- since Marina is staying in town) are footloose and fancy free, Springfield's version of the Hatfields and McCoys might be coming soon! Let's face it, the only thing they have to focus on is how great it will feel to get those Spaudlings once and for all!!

Reva needs to find herself a good book to read this summer, since her whole family is leaving town without her! Since we know that Robert Newman (Josh) will be M.I.A. for a month, doing a play in Massachusetts, and Shayne is leaving town, she'll have the whole house (and pool house) to herself. Just wait 'til she finds out that Sandy is an imposter (but as a psychic, shouldn't she already know that?)!

With Dinah in town (and we know she isn't really leaving), it looks like Ross and "Little Bill" might have to have a suitcase handy. Aiding a fugitive isn't small potatoes to the Feds so they might need a quick getaway. Of course, Jeffrey O'Neill is a Fed (on vacation, it seems), so how can those charges stick?

Michelle already has her suitcase full of new clothes (funny, since they are supposed to be broke) and a whole new attitude. What will happen when she and Tony expose Springfield to their new club at the Lighthouse? And where does this leave Danny (and Robbie)?

It seems that things really got hot in Springfield while I was gone! Not the 109 degrees that we had at Lake Mead/Hoover Dam (ouch) but just sticky enough to make the rest of the summer really interesting. For those who want to know, I had a great vacation (except the first day, when I wound up with food poisoning at 4:00 a.m. and went to the Urgent Care). We saw Las Vegas, Bryce, Zion, Capitol Reef, Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff/Sedona, Kingman and back to Las Vegas. Drove over 1,500 miles in 12 days, and am I pooped!! I'll try to get all my pics online to share -- but I did take over 1,000 shots (so glad I have a digital camera). Still trying to catch up on my sleep and get over this bug, but I should be back to the old me soon!! ; )

Hope everyone is having a great summer! It's great to get away, but nothing beats all of the comforts of home sweet home!

Keep the Light Shining and Have a Great Week!
Kimberly
