Adam announced to Tad that everyone in the room knew about his affair with Krystal. Adam further declared that Krystal, Babe, and JR hid the truth about the baby from both of them. Then, Adam stated that they wanted him to keep it a secret from Tad also. Tad looked stunned as he turned to Krystal. So, with tears in her eyes, Krystal admitted that Tad was the father. Then, Adam, JR, and Babe went upstairs as Tad glared at Krystal. Tad was enraged with Krystal. Tad was very upset because he took Krystal's word over Dixie's about the baby. Tad was distraught that Dixie died thinking that he did not believe in her. Tad also felt guilty about suggesting therapy for Dixie when she tried to convince him that the baby was his. Krystal believed that Tad wanted Kate, not her baby. Krystal also said that Dixie knew this too and this was shy she stopped trying to convince Tad. Tad was irate that Krystal tried to use Dixie as a defense mechanism. Tad called Krystal disgraceful and selfish for taking advantage of his and Dixie's pain over their lost child. Krystal admitted to being selfish in regards to her children. Krystal then declared that her baby was a Chandler and that Adam was the father. Krystal also said that Tad did not want the baby because he was only interested in Kate. Tad said that Krystal was worse than Greg Madden because he trusted her. Krystal still felt that she was right about Tad not wanting the baby. Tad yelled that Krystal never gave him a chance to want the baby. Then, Krystal left the room.
Adam emptied Krystal's drawers as he cried. Then, JR entered. Adam laughed and stated that both he and JR were fooled by two gold digging tramps. JR reminded Adam about the many times he encouraged JR to forgive Babe. Adam laughed again at how they both tried to make their wives happy by preaching forgiveness. Adam then remarked that they would have perfect symmetry if Babe was pregnant with Josh's spawn. JR reminded Adam that they were all still family. Adam asserted that JR was no longer a Chandler or his son. JR said Adam could not get rid of him, but Adam warned that he already did. Then, Adam left with Krystal's clothes.
Adam went outside and put Krystal's clothing into a garbage pail. Then, Adam poured lighter fluid on the clothes and threw a match into the pail. Adam cried as he watched the flames rise. Then, Winifred came outside with the baby presents Adam bought earlier. Adam grabbed the presents and yelled at Winifred to leave. Adam proceeded to burn the presents. Then, Colby saw her father and pleaded with him to stop. However, Adam continued to fuel the flames, so Colby called Stuart for help. Then, Adam mistakenly knocked Colby to the ground. Adam fell to his knees as Colby cried. Adam apologized for not listening to Colby when she tried to warn him about Krystal. Colby wished she was wrong and wanted their family to be happy again. However, Adam explained that JR, Krystal, and Babe were no longer family. Adam stated that he and Colby were the only Chandlers left. Then, Stuart arrived and Colby left. Adam embraced Stuart and cried. Stuart was confused, so Adam explained everything. Stuart looked shocked as Adam continued to cry.
JR saw Tad in the living room. Tad asked about when JR discovered the truth. So, JR explained about Dixie's dying wish. Tad was furious that JR used Dixie's last words as blackmail. JR said he felt guilty, but thought his mother would understand. Tad disagreed and thought Dixie would be ashamed of JR. Then, JR reminded Tad that he forgave him after Tad let him think Little Adam was dead. Tad stated that JR never forgave him and that this was his payback.
Josh entered the mansion and saw Tad. Tad wondered if Josh wanted the secret exposed just so he could get Babe. Josh stated that some secrets should stay buried and walked away.
Babe went upstairs and found Colby crying. Babe asked if Colby was happy now that the truth was out. Colby was conflicted because she started to love Babe, but felt obligated to hate her now. So, Colby asked for Babe's advice. Babe stated that Colby had to make her own decision. Then, Colby asked how Krystal could betray Adam if she claimed to love him. Krystal then entered and asserted that she loved Adam. Colby did not even look at Krystal and left the room. Next, Babe asked Krystal why she told the truth. Krystal said she had to for Adam, Tad, and especially Babe. Krystal explained that Josh was right with his claim that Babe would be a prisoner as long as the secret was kept. Babe looked annoyed over Josh's involvement. Then, Krystal looked outside and saw Adam and the fire. Krystal realized that her dream about David torching her life was false. Krystal declared that she was the one that torched her own life. Then, Krystal began to cramp, just as Josh entered. Josh and Babe calmed Krystal down from her panic attack. Josh urged both women to leave, but they refused. Krystal wanted to stay and fight for her marriage. Then, Babe thanked Josh for saving her life, but asked him to stay out of it now. So, Josh went to leave, but ran into JR first. Josh said that Babe would never buy JR's hero act. JR smirked and said that despite Josh's numerous attempts with Babe, he still had nothing to show for it. So, Josh stormed out.
Adam came back into the house and poured himself a drink. Then, JR entered and Adam offered him a drink. JR did not think that Adam really wanted him to drink. Adam said he did not care because JR was not his son. JR explained that he got his blackmail scheme straight from Adam's playbook. JR then asked his father to forgive Krystal. Adam asserted that his marriage was over in order to save the little dignity he had left. JR said that all of Adam's pride, power, and money would mean nothing if he was alone. Then, JR left and Tad entered. Tad stated that Adam was not the only person fooled. Adam was not comforted and chastised Tad for sleeping with Krystal. Adam remarked that he married Krystal for sex and now he would divorce her for sex. Then, Adam screamed at Tad to leave, just as Krystal and Babe entered. Adam saw Krystal and demanded she leave too. So, Tad left, however Krystal would not go. Krystal said she was stubborn and would fight for her marriage because she still loved Adam. Adam said that JR, Babe, and Krystal deserved each other. Then, Adam left.
Babe and JR put Krystal into bed. JR turned off the lights and promised to protect Babe and Krystal. Then, JR left as Babe embraced Krystal.
Tad sat outside and prayed to Dixie. Tad could not believe this was his baby. So, Tad asked Dixie what he should do.
Adam returned outside. He stared at the burned clothing and toys. Adam said that everyone involved would know what it felt like to be burned. Then, Adam vowed that everyone would pay!
Zach and Kendall asked Ryan to stay and help run Cambias, but he turned them down and left when Annie called and asked him to come to Wildwind. Zach questioned if this is what he really wanted. Jonathan walked in and blamed Zach for everything that's gone wrong with his family. Kendall defended Zach. Jon left, and Zach told Kendall he wants their baby to be proud of him.
Tad showed up at Wildwind and told Jamie and Julia that he is the father of Krystal's baby, and that JR knew all along because Dixie told him right before she died. Jamie, furious that JR didn't tell him, left. Julia asked Tad if he wanted the baby. Tad said he could hardly wrap his mind around being a father, and he's having a hard time being happy about it because Krystal lied to him. What he does know, however, is that he is going to get his kid out of there.
Krystal brought Adam breakfast in bed so they could talk, but he knocked the tray to floor and growled, "Don't you have any pride?" Krystal insisted Adam still loves her, and begged him to remember everything they had before she told him the truth about Charlotte. Adam told Krystal she has been the greatest disappointment of his life, but then said there might be something she could do to fix things — get rid of the baby. Adam left Krystal shocked and in tears. JR kissed Babe while she slept, and she woke up to see him leaning over her. She told him to stop, and insisted they were not getting back together. She doesn't think she can forgive him for using Krystal's secret to blackmail her. JR told Babe he was rooting for Krystal, and gave her a list of lawyers. He explained that his father cut him off completely, and Babe said she is sorry that Krystal's secret cost him so much. She asked if he regretted keeping the secret. "No, not if it brought me closer to you," he said, but then allowed, "I just don't think Tad will ever forgive me." Jamie walked in and declared, "I sure as hell never will." Leaving Babe alone in her room, Jamie laid into JR for keeping Tad's baby from him. JR reminded Jamie that not only did he let him think Little Adam was dead, but he also slept with his wife. Babe walked in and told Jamie she won't be staying married to JR. Adam entered, sneering, "You Martin boys sure like sloppy seconds." Babe went to comfort Krystal, and told her that Adam is showing her who he really is. Krystal said she knew all along about Adam's temper, and it's her own fault that he is acting this way. "He has every right to lash out at me." Krystal announced that she will stay at the mansion until she can convince Adam that they are meant to be together, but told Babe she doesn't have to stay. Babe said she wouldn't leave her. Stuart came in and said he thought Adam might be broken for good. They joined the men downstairs just as the cops arrived. Krystal and Babe were arrested as Adam looked on.
Ryan arrived at Wildwind, and Annie told him that Jon was wrong; she wasn't in love with him. Ryan was okay with that, and tried to seduce her. Annie convinced him to teach her to ride a horse instead, and ended up falling into a water trough. Annie admitted she does love him.
Annie admitted to Ryan that she was in love with him. Ryan was very pleased. However, Annie was still not sure that they should get married. Annie explained that they both deserved the "real thing". Ryan agreed and proceeded to profess his love for Annie. Ryan said that each day he loved her more and more. Then, they heard Emma yell, "Ouch!" Both parents ran outside and found that Emma scraped her knee after falling off a swing. Ryan lovingly tended to the scrape as Annie watched. Then, Emma ran off to play and Annie looked upset. So, Annie stated that she would not marry Ryan, but that Ryan could still have total access to Emma. Then, Annie left and Jonathan entered. Ryan was sad that Annie rejected him. Jonathan was even more distraught that Ryan lost Erin, Cambias, and Annie. However, Ryan refused to lose Annie. Ryan vowed to fight for her, but wondered how he could win this battle.
Josh opened the door to his apartment, but slammed it shut once he saw Erica on the other side. Then, Zoe came home and let Erica inside. Zoe told Josh to be nice to his mother and left. However, Josh was irate with Erica and told her to leave. Erica would not go because she wanted to explain herself. Erica said that she told JR about Babe in order to save Josh. Erica said Josh might understand one day, probably when he had a child of his own. Erica also said that she would try to accept Babe, but she could not let Josh ruin his life by running away. Then, Erica kissed Josh and went to leave. Josh then informed Erica that JR's blackmail information was made public and Babe was free to be with whomever she wanted. Erica said she was glad and left. Then, Erica received a phone call from Adam. Adam said that if Erica wanted to purge Josh's life of Babe, then Erica should follow his instructions.
Bianca and Kendall were at Fusion. They thought the quiet office was unnerving. However, Kendall refused to hire old employees back because she thought they were "cowards" for fleeing. Then, Di entered and wanted to work. Kendall and Bianca thanked her. Then, Zoe entered and wanted to work also, but Kendall was not interested. So, Bianca and Kendall left the room to speak. Bianca thought Zoe would be perfect for Fusion. So, Kendall accused Bianca of falling for Zoe. Bianca denied this, but Kendall saw how Bianca and Zoe beamed at each other. Kendall then warned Bianca that a relationship with a transgender in transition would lead to trouble. Bianca was annoyed and told Kendall to stay the hell out of her personal life. Then, Kendall explained that Zoe would not be good for the image of Fusion. Bianca was appalled by Kendall's opinion and threatened to quit. So, Kendall gave in and decided to hire Zoe. Meanwhile, Josh entered Fusion and announced that he was there to work too. Josh then explained that he was annoyed because Zoe let Erica into their apartment. Zoe stated that she was envious of Josh because he had a mother that truly cared for him. Zoe said that her mother could not handle her being transgender and in transition. Then, Bianca and Kendall came back and told Zoe she was hired. Then, a reporter entered and asked Kendall if she had a comment on Babe being arrested earlier that morning. Everyone looked shocked! So, Bianca, Zoe, and Josh left. Then, Annie entered with her resume. Annie told Kendall that she wanted to apply for a job. Kendall wondered if Annie would have time to work while planning her wedding. Annie explained that she refused the proposal. Then, Kendall hugged Annie!
Tad met with Joe and Livia. Tad explained the situation with Krystal's baby. Then, Tad announced that he wanted to sue for custody of the unborn child. Livia was skeptical because all they had was Krystal's admission. Joe then warned that an immediate DNA test was too risky for the baby. So, Tad explained that Joe simply needed to match the DNA from him and the baby that was already in the hospital files from previous tests. Joe proceeded to get the results and it was confirmed that Tad was the father.
Babe and Krystal were handcuffed at the mansion. The cops said they were under arrest for conspiracy of fraud. Babe, Krystal, and JR were confused and denied the allegations. Regardless, the cops took the women away as JR promised to get them a lawyer and bail money. Then, JR vowed to get Adam to stop his revenge plans. Adam warned JR not to threaten him because JR had never been on the receiving end of his wrath. So, JR told Adam to bring it on and left. Then, Stuart entered because he saw Krystal and Babe get arrested. Stuart pleaded with Adam to stop, but Adam snapped at Stuart. Adam said that he was different from Stuart because he could not accept being married to the town tramp. Stuart looked very hurt and left. Then, Adam left and Tad entered. Tad told Winifred he needed to speak with Krystal. So, Winifred explained about the arrests. Tad rushed out.
Krystal and Babe were at the police station when JR arrived with Jack. Jack announced that he was their lawyer and demanded they be let go. Derek explained that they were arrested for insurance fraud. Then, an insurance agent arrived with Adam. The agent explained that Krystal tried to claim one million dollars in life insurance after Babe supposedly died. Derek then showed Krystal the insurance claim with her signature on it. Krystal realized that Adam made her sign numerous papers after Babe's death. However, Krystal protested that she did not know the contents of the documents she signed. Adam attested that Krystal knew Babe was alive and still signed the papers. Jack argued that there was no proof that Krystal knew Babe was alive when she signed the papers. Then, the agent declared that he had a witness that saw Krystal and Babe together. Then, Erica entered. Everyone bombarded Erica with questions, but she was too confused to answer. So, Adam took her aside and explained everything. Meanwhile, Derek questioned Babe and Babe admitted, in front of JR, that she had contemplated skipping town with Josh. Babe asked JR if he was mad, but he said he understood. Then, Derek told Erica that she was the deciding factor as to whether or not Babe and Krystal would be locked up. Then, just as Erica was about to speak, Bianca, Zoe, and Josh entered!
Zach is mentally reviewing the conversations about assuming control of Cambias when Lily shows up in the doorway to his office. She tells him that change is hard to deal with and that she wants to try to face it head on. She tells him that she is there to apply for a job, and that she has done her homework about the company and knows that since he is familiar with her disorder, he can tailor a position for her that will maximize her skills and pay her a high wage. He asks why that is important to her, and she tells him that she has a new plan to attend Pine Valley University and work at Cambias until she has enough money to transfer to MIT. She then asks how he is doing with his change in job positions, and he tells her that although it's been a little easier since she got there, things are still hard. He expresses discomfort with the way things have been and the name of the company. She suggests that he change the name, citing that as owner, he can do as he pleases. Realizing that she is exactly right, he agrees to hire her. Excited, she tells him that she wants to start right away - as soon as they discuss salary and benefits.
At the stables, Ryan tells his brother that he and Annie belong together. Not taking him at his word, Jonathan asks what happens if he can't convince Annie of that fact. Ryan uncovers that the root of his brother's inquiries is his concern about when they will stop losing the things they love. He tells his baby brother that he is fine with the loss of his job at Cambias and reveals his plans to start his own business again but for different and better reasons - for his family. Jonathan reinforces his conviction that Ryan not give up on winning the life he deserves, and Ryan realizes that his brother's tirade is about his loss of Lily. Jonathan thought he had been dealing with it, but since becoming 100% again mentally, he doesn't know where he fits in, and all he can think about is everything he's lost. Ryan tells him that he needs to move on but Jonathan doesn't know how to do that. Jonathan then reads his brother's face and assures him that he isn't thinking of some grand future with Lily because he knows that she has moved on. He reminds Ryan that Annie hasn't moved on and he needs to fight for her, and Ryan tells him that Annie is his fight to win. He encourages Jonathan to grab his own piece of life, starting with doing something more challenging than slinging drinks at a bar. Jonathan reminds him that his résumé needs a lot of work, and a lot of explanation. Ryan tells him to go somewhere where he doesn't have to have a resume - like Cambias. Jonathan admits that he saw Zach earlier and burned that bridge, but Ryan suggests that he go back and admit he was wrong - because it's what Erin would want him to do. Jonathan agrees just before Emma comes running in and jumps into his arms. He tells the little girl that he daddy is the smartest man ever, but warns her not to let it go to his head. She agrees and then reaches for her father's open arms. Shortly thereafter, Ryan whisks his daughter home and puts her to bed, reading her a story that Annie put together about their fabulous life together.
Annie asks why she is getting a congratulatory hug from Kendall over the news that she rejected Ryan's marriage proposal, and finds that the mommy-to-be thinks that Annie is smart enough to walk away from a doomed relationship, rather than a manipulative bitch. Not taking her at face value, Annie retorts that she may not be, but Kendall certainly is. Realizing that there would be no playing nice, Kendall says that because Annie had the über-mom thing going for her, she didn't see how marrying Ryan would work since he couldn't give her kids. Annie is appalled that Kendall came up with that idea and put it in Ryan's head but Kendall tells her that there is nothing better than carrying the child of the man you love. Annie realizes that Kendall is pregnant and momentarily backs down. Kendall then adds that she can't understand why Annie wouldn't want to feel the way she does, and Annie, exasperated, asks why Kendall still feels the need to obsess over her ex even though she has a wonderful life with the man of her dreams. Kendall notes that Ryan is free to play house with whomever he chooses but, because his son will always be a factor, the home that Ryan creates needs to be as happy as the one he has with his mom. Annie then tells her that if she had decided to marry Ryan, she would have made him a hell of a lot happier than he was during all of his failed attempts with Kendall. Angry, Kendall notes that Annie knows nothing about her relationship with Ryan, and Annie admits that she can only speak for herself - and says that if she got mad at Ryan, she wouldn't sleep with his brother, and if things didn't work out with them, she wouldn't torture the next woman he got involved with. Kendall tells her that because Annie turned Ryan down, she gets what Kendall has been trying to say: that there is no way that a relationship between them could have worked when Ryan doesn't love her as much as she loves him. Annie warns Kendall not to slam her with Ryan too hard or he will have her down that aisle faster than she could ever imagine. Kendall tells her that she isn't afraid of her, but Annie rebuts that, saying that her fear is the reason she doesn't want Annie with Ryan and doesn't want to hire her. Then, Di comes in the room and thinks that she has forgotten a coffee date. Annie tells her that she had a job interview, but it's over and starts to leave. Kendall calls out and tells her that if she thinks she's so qualified, she's hired. Stunned, Annie accepts the offer and Di takes her friend off to complete the new employee paperwork.
In the back room, Annie vents to Di, and Di points out that even though Kendall gets carried away, the best revenge would be to forget about her, find Ryan and accept his proposal. Annie says that she wouldn't marry a man just to flip someone off, and Di thinks that if she doesn't want that dream life with Ryan that many women dream of, she needs to make sure that she is clear with him. Annie says that she wants it but that things are complicated. Suddenly, she says that she needs to go and tells Di that she will fill out the paperwork later. She takes the back way out and lets out an exasperated groan when Di calls out after her to find out if she changed her mind about the proposal.
Sean shows up at the Chandler Mansion and asks Colby about her text message. She tells him that everything is going to hell, but he thinks it's because Krystal is having Tad's baby. She tells him there is now something more - Adam had Krystal and Babe arrested and hauled off to jail.
The crowd gathers in the police station, trying to find out exactly why the Carey women have been arrested. Adam tells them all that the charges are legit - Krystal knew that Babe was alive when she filed the insurance papers. He also notes that Erica can prove it. Derek warns La Kane that a false statement could mean charges will be brought against her, of which she is well aware. She announces that she is fully prepared to tell the truth just as Babe collapses. Zoë confronts Adam, asking if making Babe crumble makes him feel better. Krystal adds one on by voicing an open ended threat if Babe has a relapse. Having had enough, Tad drags Adam into the interrogation room and tells him that he needs to drop the charges. Adam tells him that he will if he helps get Krystal out of the mansion - perhaps by letting her move into the Martin household. Tad loses his words at that point, and Adam launches another attack, accusing him of not wanting to bring a slut into the house he shared with the love of his life. This lights a fire in Tad, who attempts to banish Dixie's name from Adam's mouth. Adam offer to do one better: he will never speak to Tad again if he agrees to join forces.
Back outside in the general area, Babe comes to as Josh and Bianca look on, and insists that he get Erica off of Krystal's case before she is forced to attack her. They get her up off of the floor and get her some water, while Derek notes that Adam needs to get his claim together because the insurance company wants answers. Tad suggests that in order to end the ordeal, Krystal move out of the house. She shoots back that she is not leaving her husband, and JR backs her up - saying that she can live wherever she wants. Infuriated, Adam notes that they all deserve each other and walks out. Tad tells Krystal that she needs to start making decisions that will benefit the baby, but she caustically tells him that she can take care of herself and the baby, and that he needs to leave her alone to take care of her oldest. As she checks in, Babe tells her mother that she suddenly feels much better. Across the room, Bianca tells Erica that she knows Adam's charges are bogus, and advises that she think twice before siding with him. Believing that Josh will get over his obsession with Babe, Erica fills Bianca in about the paternity of Krystal's child, and says now she finally has the power to make them pay, not only for stealing Bianca's baby and trying to pass off the one still growing as a Chandler, but to also make sure that Babe loses everything that she loves. Bianca glances over at her brother and uncle, and then quietly tells her mother that she also has the power to lose everything that she herself loves.
Josh confronts JR about why he is at the police station, believing that he just wants to get Krystal and Babe back to the mansion so that he can continue to convince Babe that he is on their side, on the off chance that she will go back to him. JR fires back, asking if Josh's plan is to steal Babe away to the casino recovery room and keep her away from everyone that she loves, including her son. Babe overhears them and breaks them up, reminding JR that even though he is playing protector, he will still one day soon be her ex-husband, and recapping for Josh that even though he saved her life, he did not earn the right to run it. She tells both of them that they need to find something else to fight over because she is completely out of the running. She goes back to her mother and although they both start to follow her, Zoë gets in their way and stops them.
A representative from the insurance company arrives at the police station and JR attacks him for believing that the accusations his father voiced could be true. He thinks that the company is kowtowing only because of all of the money they get from Chandler, both the family and the corporation. Tad overhears JR's threatening tones, and mentions to his son that his willingness to use a baby to get what he wants again makes him purely Adam's son. Just then, Erica calls out to Derek and says that she is ready to make her statement. He asks her if she saw Babe and Krystal on March 15th, and she tells him no. Adam barely controls his rage as he asks her in hushed tones why she is defying him when they both want the same thing. She tells him that she has watched him manipulate people for years and notes that he forgot one thing: he can't manipulate her. Irate, Adam storms off with the insurance agent at his heels. Krystal approaches Erica and thanks her for what she did. Erica tells her that she doesn't want her thanks and she doesn't want her anywhere near her or the people that she loves. She notes how horrible it was that she tried to rob Tad of his daughter, only to use the baby as a meal ticket. Krystal expected nothing less from Erica but Babe comes over and warns Erica off of her mother before the war is able to erupt. JR comes over then, and after Derek tells the Carey women that they are free to go, tells them that the car is waiting. Most leave, but when Krystal goes back to retrieve her purse, she comes face to face with Tad, who tells her that he fully intends to sue for custody once the baby is born. Krystal lays into him for thinking that he can just tell her what is going to happen with the baby, but he tells her that because he shares DNA, he can try. He tells her that if she would be reasonable, he could set her up in a place that is not volatile, like the Valley Inn, but she tells him that she is going home to fight for her marriage. He expresses disdain over the fact that she seems more concerned about her marriage than the welfare of their daughter and tries to stop her from leaving. She wrestles out of his grip and Derek stops Tad from grabbing her again. Babe comes up and whisks her mother away, leaving Tad with a distasteful look.
Erica approaches her son and admits that she lied to try to repair some of the damage that she caused by revealing that Babe was alive. Bianca and Zoë come back then and upon seeing them, Josh tells him mother that it will take a lot more than her performance to make amends, and then walks toward his sister. Zoë breaks away from them and goes to Erica, asking if there is anything that she can do to help. Wiping tears from her eyes, she says no and thanks her for asking. Zoë then tells her that she should give her son some space - because he feels things rather intensely, the disapproval and disappointment he is feeling from Erica is difficult to deal with. After Zoë leaves, Jack approaches Erica and thanks her for putting an end to Adam's fiasco. He then informs her that he set up a meeting for them and their attorneys, saying that if they are going to finalize the divorce, he wants it to be quick and painless.
Adam returns home in a rage and bellows for Winifred. She comes scurrying and he orders her to call a locksmith so that they can all be changed within the hour. She runs to do his bidding just as Colby arrives in the living room with Sean in tow. She asks her father what happened but he tells her not to worry because Krystal will never set foot in the house again. He then tells Sean, after warning him not to touch his daughter, to grab a hammer. Workers quickly file in, and Colby demands to know why her father is going to such lengths. He insists that she wouldn't understand such adult things, only noting that Krystal, Babe and JR are no longer members of this family because they betrayed him on too deep of a level. He then roars again, ordering Winifred to get more wood.
Jonathan shows up at Cambias to find Lily working there. After getting over the shock, he asks her about her plans for school. She tells him that since he is no longer in the equation, she had to create a new one and proceeds to explain it to him. He tells her that he has no doubt that she will get exactly what she wants out of life. In true fashion, Lily gets right back to business and gives Jonathan available times to see Zach, but having changed his mind due to being out of practice, he tells Lily not to bother. She tries to give encouragement, citing his strong points, but he thanks her and leaves.
JR, Krystal and Babe return to the mansion and JR notes that he will go in first and deal with Adam while the women go upstairs and get settled back in. He tries his key and finds that it doesn't work, and then bangs on the door but gets no response. Inside, Colby begs her father to let them in, but he tells her to ignore them. Then, there is a loud crash, and they go into the living room to find that JR smashed through the patio doors. Adam orders him out again, but JR tells him that he can call the cops if he wants to look like an idiot, but they won't be leaving because they love him. JR then grabs a hammer and undoes the beam of wood that had been reinforcing the front door and lets Krystal and Babe in. Adam demands that they leave as well, but when they refuse, he tells them all to go to hell and marches back into the living room. In there, they find Tad with his feet up, saying they had better make room for one more person in the house.
Zach arrives at Fusion to find his wife throwing things and beating up helpless electronics. She fills him in on the fact that Annie applied for a job, and because they need the help, she hired her. She also notes that even though everyone thinks that Annie is sweet, she has a mouth on her like none other, and that she accused her of wanting Ryan all to herself. Zach calmly tells Kendall that Annie isn't the only one that thinks that way. Kendall tries to deny it but she finally admits that she wants to run Ryan's life because it's all about control. He pulls her on to his lap and she asks how it is that she can act out and he still treats her like she is normal. He jokes with her about not saying what he thinks, but she tells him to be nice because she is the mother of his child. From behind them, Erica's voice emerges, asking them to confirm what she is afraid she overheard.
Annie returns home, and Ryan confesses that he and their daughter got into an arts and craft project that spun out of control. They enter the bedroom and Annie finds that the room has been decorated in accordance with the book she made for Emma.
Annie is amazed the princess room Ryan and Emma created for her. Annie begins crying, saying that she is tired of saying no to his marriage proposal. Ryan points out all of Annie's positive points, trying to jokingly blame that it is her fault he fell in love with her. Annie says that the story she wrote is not real, just a tool to help Emma understand that she will always be there to protect her. Ryan and Annie enjoy snow cones and kisses in her princess room. When Ryan asks her to look into the mirror and say what the future holds, Annie tells him to get away from her.
Erica hugs and congratulates Kendall on her pregnancy. After Kendall leaves to make a phone call, Zach tells Erica that he knows she is not happy about the pregnancy because it will connect him and Kendall forever. Zach says he respects Erica feelings, but points out that he is not Ryan, but promises to protect his child. Kendall comes back, reminding them they should get going to Miranda's party. Kendall asks her mother to truly be happy for the new baby because Zach is the man she loves. Erica takes Kendall's hand and watches them leave because she has to pick up Miranda's present first.
Bianca scolds Josh for interfering in Babe's life as they come back to her home. Zoe walks in with a handful of balloons for Miranda's birthday party. Zoe starts ordering Josh and Bianca around so they will stop fighting and get the apartment ready for the party. Lily, Myrtle and Jackson are the first guests to arrive. Lily asks Zoe that if he is a man, why is he dressed like a woman. Zoe tries to answer Lily's question the best she can. Lily says that people can be different and it does not have to be bad. Sean arrives at the party, with Barbara following behind, surprising everyone, including Sean. Barbara apologizes for her behavior the other day and offers Miranda a present that used to belong to Bianca's father. Bianca tells Barbara that she can stay for the party as Kendall, Erica, Zach and Spike arrive. Kendall announces her pregnancy and everyone cheers. Miranda arrives for her big party as everyone showers her with attention. Lily tells Erica that she does not like Barbara because she has rearranged the family's schedule. Sean asks his mother to leave, but Barbara stays. Zach admits that is worried he will disappoint his new child, like he did with Ethan, to Myrtle. Myrtle tells Zach being a father will come to him easily. Jackson apologizes to Kendall for the way he treated her during the pregnancy with Ryan's child. Erica pulls Barbara away from Josh, warning to her stay away from her son. Myrtle encourages Erica to repair her marriage with Jackson before the divorce is final. Zoe sings Miranda a special birthday song. After all the guests are gone, Zoe and Bianca begin cleaning up the apartment. Bianca tells Zoe the song reminding her of the way she and Miranda found their way back to each other after being separated. Bianca and Zoe nearly share a kiss before Zoe leaves.
A mysterious woman visits Ethan's grave. The woman hides in the bushes when she sees Kendall and Zach coming.
Tad tells the Chandler and Carey gang that he is moving into the house until they decide how to handle the baby situation. Adam demands that Tad leave, but Tad says he is not going anywhere. When Tad physically tries to attack Tad, JR holds him back and Sean takes Colby out of the room. Sean tells Colby he has to go to Miranda's birthday party, leaving Colby to hear the bickering. Krystal calls Derek to complain that Tad is trespassing, but Derek does not take her seriously and hangs up. To distract the adults, Colby and Winifred bring Little Adam into the room with a birthday cake. Everyone sings "Happy Birthday" and helps Little Adam blow out the candles. Colby carries stacks of presents into the living room. As Babe and JR reminisce on their past, Babe says that their mistakes only proves they don't belong together.
As Babe and JR help their son open presents, Tad and Adam meet in the library. Adam tells Tad they should work together to get Krystal out of the Chandler household, since they both want the same thing. Adam says he can make sure Tad gets a judge who will award full custody to his child, but Tad doesn't take his offer. Tad tells Adam that he is dragging an innocent child into his revenge plans, which is something he will not be a part of.
Krystal thanks Colby for coming to the rescue with the party. Colby tells Krystal that she actually began to trust her, but now, she isn't sure if Krystal ever loved Adam. Krystal promises to make things right with Adam, but Colby is positive Krystal will only hurt him again. JR comes into the room announcing that Babe has disappeared with Little Adam. Shortly after, the lights go out and Krystal screams.
