Amanda was upset with David because his plan backfired. She stated that when JR saw her wearing Babe's dress he became enraged, not enticed. David apologized for his miscalculation, but he still wanted revenge on JR. She asked why he wanted JR to drink. David snapped and yelled that he wanted so much more than JR drinking again. First, David wanted custody of Little Adam. Amanda assumed that David yearned for more than his grandson and that he wanted Krystal, as well. Amanda thought it was pathetic that David was trying to tear apart the town, while everyone else was trying to rebuild it. David made her swear that she would keep her mouth shut about his plans.
Aidan told Greenlee not to consent to his surgery. She explained that he needed the surgery because the bullet was lodged in a dangerous spot. He refused and stated that the kidnapping was his fault. She was confused. He said that Annie told him about her plan to kidnap Emma before the tornados hit. Annie thought that the kidnapping would bring Ryan closer to her and Greenlee closer to Aidan. Aidan claimed that he was going to tell Ryan about Annie's dubious plan when he found Ryan and Greenlee together. He saw Greenlee looking at Ryan the way that she used to look at him and it broke his heart. Then, he found out that Annie had already put her plan into action. He decided to pretend that he was working with Annie, so he could make sure that Emma was safe. He swore to Greenlee that he had no malicious intent, but he understood why she would not believe him. Greenlee was shocked by Aidan's revelation, and left the room.
Krystal awoke from a nightmare in which she dreamt David was sleeping beside her, instead of Tad. Tad tried to console her, but she felt that her dreams were premonitions. Tad received a call from Jake. Jake said that Aidan was refusing to have surgery. Tad and Krystal rushed to the hospital.
Greenlee saw Tad and urged him to convince Aidan to have the surgery. Tad went in to see his friend. Tad asked why Aidan was refusing the surgery. Aidan lied and pretended that he did not like the odds. Tad saw through the excuse and asked for the real reason. Aidan said that he felt guilty about something bad that he did. Aidan assumed responsibility for the kidnapping going awry and for Di's death. Tad told Aidan that it was not his fault, and he reminded him that Emma was saved. Tad encouraged Aidan to have the surgery because he could not lose another person in his life, so Aidan consented.
Jake was about to bring Aidan into surgery when David stopped him. David did not think that Jake was capable of handling a complicated surgery like Aidan's. Jake was confident in his skills and scrubbed in. To Jake's surprise, David scrubbed in, also. David said that the hospital's board of directors wanted him in the operating room, so he could assist Jake and step in if Jake made a mistake.
Krystal saw Angie at the hospital. Krystal realized that Angie was crying and inquired why. Angie was upset because she felt that Rebecca knew Jesse better than she did. Angie was torn because she felt bad about Rebecca's condition, but she also felt bad for herself because she had to share Jesse. Just as Krystal urged Angie to tell Jesse the truth, Jesse arrived at the hospital.
Jesse wanted to know why Angie was distraught. She began to cry and divulged all of her emotions. She explained that she felt like she was losing Jesse, even though she knew that he loved her very much. He said that she was very kind and understanding about Rebecca's situation. He then encouraged Angie to share her emotions with him regularly, so he knew how she felt.
Bianca saw JR enter ConFusion and she began to chastise him for trying to rape Amanda. JR affirmed that he did not try to assault Amanda. He stated that Erica overreacted. Bianca reminded JR that he was capable of physical harm, since he threw her over a balcony. JR looked annoyed and stated that he did not need to explain himself to Bianca.
After JR left, Reese asked Bianca why he angered her so much. Bianca said that the issue of rape really "pushed her buttons." However, Reese wondered if something else was bothering her fiancée. Bianca admitted that she was very stressed out because of the new baby, the wedding, and Kendall. Reese thought that Kendall was a big part of why Bianca was frazzled. Bianca wished that she had told her sister about the baby sooner. Bianca felt guilty that she used Zach as her donor without informing Kendall. Reese assumed that Kendall would be happy about her niece, but Bianca was skeptical.
Pete, Randi, and Natalia went to ConFusion to help Bianca and Reese set up for the fundraiser that Fusion and Cambias were hosting. Pete put on music and they all began to dance.
JR went to see Amanda on her yacht. He noticed that the boat looked in disarray. She explained that the yacht took a beating during the tornados. He offered to fix the boat. She wondered why, and he replied that it was his way of apologizing to her.
Ryan told Annie that he knew she orchestrated Emma's kidnapping. Initially, she denied it, but she eventually admitted it. She then pulled a gun out of her purse and pointed it at Ryan. She said that he could have had it all, but she would make sure he had nothing. He tried to calm her down. She explained that she had to fake the kidnapping, so she could win him back. Annie thought that Greenlee was poisoning his mind and making him think that he was in love with her; however, Annie was convinced that Ryan still loved her. She then begged him not to tear their family apart. He stated that he knew she loved him and that he wanted them to be a family. She handed the gun to Ryan and said that she could not kill him because she loved him. He was relieved.
Annie and Ryan sat down together to talk. Annie revealed all of the details of the kidnapping. She swore that Emma was safe, until Di turned on her. She stated that she had to shoot Di, or Di would have killed her. Just then, Greenlee entered. Ryan told her to leave, but Annie insisted that she stay. Annie snidely admitted to the kidnapping and the two women began to yell at each other. Emma heard the commotion and came into the room to see what was happening. Ryan secretly handed Greenlee the gun and asked her to watch Annie while he put Emma in bed.
Annie gloated to Greenlee that she "won." Annie stated that Ryan would not turn her in for the kidnapping because that would hurt Emma. Greenlee disagreed and predicted that Ryan would tell the police about Annie's sick plot. Annie looked worried and started to leave the penthouse, but Greenlee pulled out the gun. Greenlee revealed that Ryan gave her the gun because he did not trust Annie. Annie had a crazed look in her eye as she walked towards the balcony. Ryan entered the room and asked what was going on. Annie stated that Greenlee made her realize what she needed to do. Then, Annie jumped off of the balcony.
Brot told Colby that he did not want to disturb his mother and Taylor, who both seemed so happy with their new lives. Colby said that Taylor might have moved on, but would always wonder about her relationship with Brot. Also, Colby said Brot would regret not knowing if he even had a chance with Taylor. But Brot felt strongly that Taylor would not accept his disfigured looks. Brot demanded that Colby leave him alone.
Ryan limped back into his house. Greenlee saw he was injured. Ryan said Annie accidentally ran over his foot as she tried to get the car around him and past a gate. Jesse walked into the house. He said that he needed proof that Annie faked Emma's kidnapping in order to arrest her. Ryan said Annie admitted everything to him, but he did not get it on tape. Greenlee suggested Jesse talk to Aidan. She said Aidan knew Annie's plan to get Ryan back and pretended to go along with it to draw her out. Ryan said Aidan had plenty of chances to tell him about Annie, but never said a word. Ryan asked Jesse to find Annie so he could get her the psychological help she needed.
Greenlee snuffed that Annie was mentally too far gone for any help. Plus, she wondered why Ryan wanted to help Annie after all he had been through. Ryan said Emma needed her mother. Jesse got a call and learned that Annie's car was found abandoned at the hospital. Jesse and Ryan went to question Aidan at the hospital, but David said Aidan was in no condition for visitors. As Jesse and Ryan began to leave, Aidan called out to them. He agreed to answer their questions. Jesse asked Aidan if he knew where she might have gone after confessing the plan to Ryan. Aidan said Annie wanted to get her family back so she was probably at the last place they were all happy together. Ryan scolded Aidan for not telling him about Annie's plan sooner. Jesse told Ryan to go outside, where he ran into Greenlee. Ryan immediately asked who was watching Emma. Greenlee said Corina, the babysitter, and an armed policeman were with Emma.
Greenlee said Aidan was going to tell them about Annie's plan, but was sidetracked when he found her and Ryan together the night of the tornado. Ryan said things would have been different if he had only stayed away from Greenlee. Greenlee told Ryan not to blame himself for Annie's actions. Ryan suggested Aidan helped Annie to win Greenlee back, but Greenlee said Aidan gave up on her a long time ago. Ryan told Jesse he thought Annie was at Wildwind, where Ryan and Annie exchanged wedding vows. After Jesse left, Aidan asked a nurse to use the telephone. He called Zach and asked him to come to the hospital. Aidan told Zach that Annie admitted she kidnapped Emma to Ryan. Aidan figured it wouldn't be long until Annie admitted she killed her brother and Zach covered it up.
Annie wiped the tears from her eyes, straightened her hair, and looked at herself in a mirror. She said it was time to get ready for her guests. She set a table for several people and started to grab a turkey. But Annie's mind switched into another scenario. Annie was dressed in a pink cocktail dress. Ryan complimented Annie on her appearance for their Thanksgiving dinner. Zach, Greenlee, and Aidan showed up for the dinner. Greenlee apologized to Annie for ruining her marriage to Ryan.
Jake said that David told the board he was a liability, which gave David the authority to operate on Aidan. Jake said he was the one who flew across the country to care for Aidan until he arrived at Pine Valley Hospital. David came by and took his scrubs off, but couldn't resist poking fun at Jake. Taylor told David that he had no right to seek revenge against Jake for Babe's death. David said Taylor knew nothing about Babe. Even so, Taylor reminded David that he was not the only person who had lost a loved one. She told David he needed to let Babe's death go and move on with his life. Jake appreciated Taylor standing up for him, but told her he could handle David himself. Jake escorted Taylor back to her room. She thanked Jake for having so much faith in her recovery. Taylor wondered if Brot would have had the same reaction to her injuries. Jake said he doubted Brot would have left her side.
JR offered to help Amanda repair her boat. After JR left, Randi called Amanda and asked her to help stuff gift bags at ConFusion. Colby and Pete helped Amanda unload boxes of water and other supplies. Pete asked Colby how long she would keep Brot a secret. Colby said as long as needed. Pete suggested that Fusion hire Colby as Amanda's personal assistant. Amanda asked Colby if she wanted the internship. Pete said he figured Colby was done with her time at the hospital and almost brought up Brot. Colby dragged Pete away and explained that Brot was in love with Jake's patient who had moved on. Amanda asked Colby if she was referring to Taylor. But Bianca asked for Amanda's help before Colby could explain further. Pete was hurt when he found out Colby had left ConFusion without him.
Zach informed Reese and Bianca that the City Council's budget to repair Pine Valley after the tornado was twice what he estimated. Zach said the fundraiser would not raise nearly as much needed for tornado victims. Bianca said they would have to work harder to get more donations. Zach said that would be hard, given the worsening economy. Reese said they needed to have faith the fundraiser would work, and even that Kendall would pull through her coma. Zach snapped at Reese for trying to help him, and walked away. Bianca told Reese that Zach's reaction stemmed from his stress. Bianca, Reese, Amanda, and Zach sat down to discuss the fundraiser details further, but Zach seemed cold and not compassionate for the cause. He left to answer a call.
Bianca wanted to call Rachael, the nanny, and check on the children. Reese told Amanda that it was hard for her to rebuild a town for Kendall, a woman she had never met. Amanda said Kendall was not the saint people made her out to be. Bianca overheard Amanda call Kendall and Erica "devilish divas." She reminded Amanda that Kendall and Erica bailed her out of serious legal trouble with Bella. Reese told Bianca to take it easy on Amanda, but Bianca snapped for Reese to stay out of it. Bianca apologized to Reese for being so mean to her. But Reese felt she had been overstepping bounds with all of Bianca's relatives since coming to town.
Brot hid behind some netting when he heard JR coming. Colby found JR working on the boat's broken carburetor at the pier. JR said he thought Babe would be disappointed in how he was living his life since she died.
David was surprised when he came home and found Annie sitting alone at the dining room table. Ryan, Greenlee, and Jesse found David lying on the floor. David said Annie hit him on the head and rushed out of the house. Annie applied fresh lipstick in a bathroom. She said the next day would be the happiest day of her life, and no one would stand in her way.
Zach visited Kendall in the Canadian hospital. The doctor told Zach that he should take Kendall home, because she was not getting any better. Zach was frustrated and asked the doctor if she was sending Kendall "home to die." The doctor stated that she could do nothing else for Kendall.
Emma asked Ryan where her mother was. Ryan assured his daughter that he would find Annie and help her. Emma inquired if her mother was sad, and Ryan said that she was. Then, Jesse arrived. Just as Jesse stated that Annie disappeared, Annie called Ryan. She was hiding in the basement of Fusion. She cryptically told Ryan that she was waiting for him. He asked where she was, but she would not say. She said that all of their friends were waiting for them and hung up.
Amanda was getting ready for the fundraiser when David came to see her. She was annoyed that he showed up unannounced. He admitted that he stopped by the previous night and saw JR with her. She reminded David that their plan to ruin JR was cancelled, so he urged her to reconsider. She stated that she would get back on board with their plan, if he paid her an extra one million dollars and let her work JR from her own angles. David was not sure if she was worth the extra money. She affirmed that he needed her and that she would get the job done. He liked her confidence, so he agreed to her terms.
Natalia arrived at Angie's house with a dress in her hands. She announced that the dress was for Rebecca because she wanted her mother to be her date to the fundraiser. Angie looked uneasy, but encouraged Rebecca to go. Rebecca hesitantly agreed to attend the event.
Taylor was annoyed that Jake was "forcing" her to go to the fundraiser, but he was happy that she was his date. As she was about to get into her wheelchair, he put shoes on her feet. She noted that she did not need shoes. He said that she would because they were going to dance together.
Erica, Bianca, and Reese were preparing for the fundraiser. When Greenlee entered ConFusion, she was irate because there were posters of Erica everywhere. Greenlee snapped at Erica for being a "diva." Erica was unaffected by Greenlee's insults and continued to get ready for the event. Bianca suggested to Greenlee that she work with Erica, since Erica saved Fusion. Greenlee called Bianca naïve. Greenlee affirmed that Erica was not saving Fusion for Kendall; instead, Greenlee thought that Erica wanted Fusion for herself.
Guests arrived for the fundraiser and Zach and Erica addressed the crowd. Zach thanked everyone for coming. He said that the fundraiser was a chance to not only rebuild buildings, but families and lives, as well. He then handed Erica a check for a very large donation and exited the room. Erica welcomed everyone and announced that she was auctioning off a dance with herself to the highest bidder. David beat out Tad, Jack, and Adam with a fifty thousand dollar bid. Erica was shocked, but pleased by the bid, and danced with David. Tad, Jack, and Adam scowled as David twirled Erica on the dance floor.
Reese found Zach on the roof. She asked what was wrong, and he explained that the doctor in Canada thought Kendall was a lost cause. Reese wondered if he had told Erica and Bianca yet. He said that he did not want to spoil their evening. He then declared that he was bringing Kendall home, but he refused to let her die.
Colby entered the event. Pete assumed that she spent the day with Brot. She said that Brot planned to leave town, and Pete was glad. Colby then saw Taylor arrive with Jake. Colby told Taylor that she looked pretty. Colby proceeded to ask Taylor if she was happy. Taylor replied yes, and Colby ran off. Taylor told Jake that Colby's behavior seemed odd.
JR arrived and immediately found Amanda. They were having fun until Amanda saw Jake and Taylor together. JR commented that Jake did not deserve Amanda. JR further noted that he was enjoying himself, thanks to her.
Frankie was visibly annoyed when he realized that Natalia and Rebecca were at the fundraiser. He asked Angie why she brought them. Angie urged him to accept Natalia and Rebecca, but he refused.
Jesse arrived and was shocked to see Rebecca. Jesse wondered why Rebecca was there. Angie explained that Natalia invited her mother, so she supported the invitation. Jesse thought that Angie was being overly generous. He affirmed that he wanted to spend the night with his wife, not Rebecca.
Randi was upset with Frankie because he refused to accept Natalia as his sister. Randi assumed that he did not acknowledge his half-sister because she was "illegitimate." He claimed that was not true, but Randi was skeptical. She reminded him that she was illegitimate and a former prostitute. He stated that she was different and that he did not care about her past.
Ryan arrived at ConFusion with police officers. Greenlee asked why he came. He explained that Annie called him and that he had a feeling she was going to show up at the event. Greenlee was worried.
Annie went into the bathroom of ConFusion. She was wearing a wedding dress. She looked crazy as she got ready for what she thought was her wedding day. Then, she pulled a knife out of her purse as she proclaimed that no one would ruin her big day.
Annie entered the fundraiser. She looked completely disheveled with her lipstick smeared all over her face. The crowd looked horrified by the sight of Annie. When Ryan saw her, he looked nervous because he noticed the knife in her hand and blood on her dress. Annie was excited and told Ryan that she was ready to get married. She then recited her wedding vows. Ryan asked her if she hurt anyone with the knife, but she said nothing. Meanwhile, Erica was on the floor of the bathroom bleeding and unconscious.
