At the hospital, JR revealed that he knew that Cara's baby was alive and that she had lied to David about having an abortion. Cara explained that she didn't know what David would do if he knew, but she worried that David would damage her child. She swore that David would never find out the truth.
At the Chandler mansion, AJ and Miranda did their homework, and Bianca asked Miranda to take a break, so they could finish their earlier conversation. Miranda said that it wasn't a good time, but Bianca suspected that Miranda was still upset. AJ made an excuse to give the women some privacy, and Miranda scolded Bianca for clearing the room. Bianca contended that she considered AJ to be family, and she reminded Miranda that Bianca had intended to raise AJ with Marissa. Bianca reiterated that JR had put an end to that dream when he'd killed Marissa, and Bianca could never forgive him for it.
Bianca recalled how happy she, Marissa, and their kids had been as a family. She asserted that they'd had an amazing future, but JR had stolen it. Miranda said that AJ was also shaken up about JR being back, and she vowed to be there for AJ. Bianca sympathized with AJ, but she thought that JR was dangerous, and she forbade Miranda from being around JR.
Miranda questioned whether Bianca intended to lock her in her room, and she urged Bianca to get over Marissa's death. Bianca repeated that she could never forgive or forget what JR had done. The front door banged shut, and Bianca and Miranda turned and faced JR, Brooke, and Dixie. Bianca stormed over to JR in the foyer. "You son of a bitch," she growled, and she smacked him hard across the face.
Dixie and Miranda tried to hold Bianca back as Bianca raged that JR should be dead instead of Marissa. Bianca snapped that she'd prayed every day that he would "die and go to hell." She screamed that she hated him, and she angrily questioned what Marissa had ever done to deserve his hatred. As AJ looked on, Bianca ranted that Marissa had loved JR's son and had only wanted to raise a family in peace, but JR had shot her.
Bianca called JR a monster who didn't deserve a single moment of peace or freedom, and Brooke intervened. Dixie asked Bianca to leave, but JR stated that he had something to say. Bianca expected lies or excuses, but JR confessed that while he didn't remember the night of the shooting, he had been told what he'd done, and he was sorry. "Bullshit," Bianca spat.
Bianca berated JR for destroying people with his hate and then going on as if nothing had ever happened. JR conceded that Bianca had every right to hate him, and he didn't expect her forgiveness. He added that he couldn't forgive himself for taking a life, but he insisted that he was no longer the "first-rate bastard" he had been. He sincerely apologized, and Bianca softly said that she should go. Miranda noticed the stricken expression on AJ's face, and she proclaimed that she was staying. AJ retreated to the living room, and Miranda followed him.
After Bianca left, Dixie escorted JR to the living room, and Brooke asked if he remembered anything, but he didn't. Dixie stated that the trauma was responsible for his memory loss, and he might never remember. JR observed that Miranda had grown up as much as AJ, and Miranda apologized for Bianca's behavior, but JR assured her that it was okay. JR asked how AJ's pitching arm was, but AJ said that he wouldn't be able to play if he didn't do his homework, and he quickly exited.
Later, Cara arrived to see JR, and she offered to help with his physical therapy. He wondered whether she was concerned about his medical condition or just scared that he'd tell David about her child. Cara said that she trusted JR not to say anything, but she admitted that David was part of the reason for her visit. She warned that David blamed JR for David's stint in prison and Marissa's death, and she anticipated that there might be a time when she and JR would need one another.
In AJ's bedroom, Miranda told AJ that she hated that Bianca had gone off on JR, because Bianca wasn't the only person who'd lost someone. AJ thanked Miranda for trying to protect him, and she said that she always would. She picked up a guitar and wanted to play him a song that she'd written about her and AJ. As AJ gazed lovingly at Miranda, she strummed the guitar and sang a sweet tune about how they had always been there for one another.
Miranda concluded the song, and AJ was speechless. She asked him not to leave her hanging, and she assumed that he'd found the song dorky. He insisted that the song was amazing, and so was she. They hugged, and as they slowly parted, he tenderly kissed her. Miranda kissed AJ back, but she suddenly pulled away and said that she had to go. He protested, but she rushed out of the room in a panic.
Celia and Pete entered a hotel room, and she was astonished that he had whisked her off to New York City. Pete said that when he made a promise, he delivered. He mentioned going to an Asian fusion place and then hitting a club, but Celia hesitantly eyed the sole bed in the room. Pete noticed Celia's discomfort, and he replied that it was all hers, because he was a "chair sleeper."
Pete implored Celia to change clothes, so they could paint the town. She sheepishly admitted that she'd never been to a club, but he assured her that he was an expert. She realized that she couldn't go because she only had an overnight bag, and all of her clothes were in the suitcase that she had left behind. He declared that there was "an app for every crisis," and he reached for his phone.
Later, the bellhop wheeled a rack of clothes into the hotel room. Celia gushed that she didn't know where to start, but Pete pulled out a few outfits and heaped them into her arms. She carried them off to the bathroom to change, and she playfully modeled one dress after another, wobbling as she tried to walk in high heels. A clearly enamored Pete twirled her around and held her close. Celia finally decided on an outfit, and they prepared to leave.
After a night of clubbing, Celia and Pete returned to their room, and she gleefully danced around and giggled. She gushed that the evening had meant the world to her, and she flopped on the bed and asked what was next. Pete declared that it was time for bed, and she looked uncomfortable, but he clarified that he'd meant sleep. He turned toward the chair, but she said that the bed was big, and she suggested that he sleep on top of the covers. They prepared to spend an innocent night sharing the bed together.
David awakened Angie, who'd fallen asleep at Amy's bedside. He wanted to take Angie home, but she wanted to stay there in case Amy said something that could help Cassandra. David contended that Cassandra would need a strong, rested mother, and he offered to whip up some food for Angie at her house. He insisted on taking Angie home, and she relented.
At the Hubbard home, David suspected that Angie had been upset to find out that Jesse had held back the news about Cassandra, but Angie swore that nothing mattered but finding her daughter. Angie sobbed that she just wanted her baby home, and David consoled her. Later, David covered a sleeping Angie with a blanket. He watched over her and gently stroked her arm.
A woman tended to Cassandra and said that Cassandra didn't look so good. A blonde girl warned that Cassandra needed to learn to fake it. "If you can't handle some S and M and some pole time, there's a Dumpster with your name on it," the girl cautioned. Cassandra hoped that her parents would find her, but the blonde said that the women there didn't exist, because the men would use them up and throw them away once they were too broken and beaten.
Vlad advised Uri that it could be war to go up against the local pimp, but Uri snarled that he'd squash the pimp like a cockroach. Uri instructed Vlad to divide the girls between working at the strip club and turning tricks.
The madam told Billy Clyde about a new gentlemen's club that had been tearing business away from them with dirty stripping and kinky sex. Billy Clyde said that he would show them what a real gentleman could do with the Lord on his side. Billy Clyde contacted his religious cohorts to wage "a good Christian war against the infidels."
Jesse took a call at the police station, and he informed Zach and Lea that a suspicious white van had been spotted in Rosemont. Jesse told his men to hold back from approaching the van. A moment later, a look of disappointment crossed his face, and he reported that it had been a flower delivery. Later, Jesse got word that something was going down at a club in Center City.
Billy Clyde preached among a bevy of sign-carrying protesters outside the gentlemen's club. One of Uri's men ordered them to leave, but they raucously chanted to shut the club down. Uri's minion reported to Uri that they had trouble. Uri ordered his flunky to make sure all the girls were out of the club, and the man emailed Uri a photo of Billy Clyde.
Billy Clyde bellowed that he was shocked and amazed that the police had allowed the club to operate. The cops yelled that the party was over, but the protestors continued to rant, and the officers began to arrest them. Jesse was shocked when he recognized Billy Clyde.

At the hotel, Celia dreamed about an eyeless, doll-like girl with blood on her face. "He's always right behind you," the little girl said, and Celia whipped around to see a man within inches of her. Celia awakened with a gasp, and Pete assured her that she was safe with him.
The two were about to kiss, but Celia's phone chimed. On her phone, she saw a plethora of text messages from Evelyn, who Celia assumed was beside herself because Celia had ditched Europe to take off with Pete. Pete offered to drive Celia back, but she wanted her overdue fun to continue.
Later, Pete and Celia returned to the room with shopping bags, and Celia beamed about the fun they'd had in the East Village. She'd never been to that part of Manhattan because Evelyn had never traveled below Rockefeller Plaza. Celia said Evelyn would believe Pete was trying to corrupt her. He said he might be, but Celia asserted that one couldn't corrupt the willing.
Pete asked Celia to promise to hold on to the memories that they'd shared once she returned to Evelyn, and he asked Celia not to think about anything but what he wanted to do right then. Celia asked what that was, and he kissed her.
At Opal's house, Evelyn arrived in a huff about Pete absconding with Celia. Opal disbelieved that, and she asserted that Celia, with her plaid-skirt-clad caboose, had lured Pete in. Evelyn contended that Celia was an innocent, but Pete had kept Celia out all night so he could seduce her.
In Celia's room later, Evelyn searched the place, and Opal left a message for Pete to call her. Evelyn discovered the tablet with Pete's message on it, and as the ladies listened to it, Opal insisted that "the boy has been bewitched," as she'd said. Evelyn was astounded by Opal's ignorance about Pete being a troublemaker, and Evelyn said he had no idea how serious the trouble could be.
At the Chandler mansion, Miranda arrived, but she wasn't sure if AJ still wanted to catch the bus with her. He asked how else they'd get to school. She wasn't looking forward to subjecting herself to the uncouth kids at school. He suggested that she walk in like she owned the place and get it over with.
"About last night..." Miranda said, Sighing AJ assumed she was referring to the kiss. She explained that they'd been like family while growing up, and he was her best friend. She didn't want to screw that up. Hiding his disappointment, AJ claimed it was cool. She asked if it really was, and he tried to smile a little as he assured her that it was.
By the lockers at school later, AJ cut off Hunter as Hunter approached Miranda. Hunter claimed he wanted to apologize, but AJ barked that Hunter probably had some ulterior motive. Hunter called AJ paranoid and claimed to be ready if AJ wanted another piece of him.
Miranda asked Hunter to leave her and AJ alone, and Hunter scoffed, wondering if that was what he'd get for apologizing. Hunter advised her to keep her "BFF" away from Hunter before AJ "got his ass kicked" and scored a one-way ticket out of school for good.
Hunter left, and Miranda butted her head against the lockers. AJ said not to let Hunter get to her, and the worst part was over. He encouraged her to have fun while they got through the day.
Later, AJ was in the corridor with Kyle after practice. Kyle noted that the coach had been hard on AJ; however, AJ wasn't worried about that as long as it didn't screw up his chance to be starting pitcher. Kyle told AJ to get real because Rick had locked the position when his pitch had topped eighty.
AJ wondered where the "Superman arm came from," and Kyle said Rick had been juicing. AJ was shocked when Kyle added that the whole team had been doing it, but Kyle was surprised that AJ wasn't. Kyle shoved a bag of syringes and vials into AJ's hand and said AJ needed to inject it into his buttocks. Kyle suggested AJ double the dose to catch up to the others and then pay Kyle later.
Miranda approached, and AJ stashed the drugs in his locker. She said her day hadn't been too bad. Some kids had ostracized her, but others had spoken out against Hunter's behavior. AJ said the coach had chewed him out for his suspension. She apologized for causing him trouble, but he said he'd do it again. She asked if he were still up for starting pitcher, and he said it was between him and Rick.
Miranda left for the next class, and AJ looked thoughtfully at the bag of steroids in the locker.
On the patio at the mansion, Cara tried to catch the cane-wielding JR as he fell. He smashed into the pavement and slapped his leg in frustration. He said there was a Chandler meeting that day, and he couldn't walk into it like a weakling. Cara handed him the cane and ordered him to not be impatient.
Later, JR entered the living room and saw Brooke preparing her briefcase. Brooke said that he looked nice and wondered where he was off to. JR mentioned the board meeting, and Brooke frankly said that Adam wouldn't want JR at the meeting. She explained that the company was in a critical place, and she had some strong-arming to do with the board members.
JR assumed that Brooke was saying that the board would remember his reign of terror and fear that he was planning another coup. Brooke suggested that he talk things over with his father and give the situation some time to heal. JR sadly sat down, and Brooke left for the meeting.
Cara entered and wondered why JR hadn't gone to board meeting. He grumbled that he'd been uninvited. She was sorry about that, and JR expressed frustration about people apologizing and telling him to give it time. He guessed that a gunshot wound to his head and five years in a coma hadn't been enough. He mumbled that everyone would be better off if David had been a better shot.
Cara decided that self-pity was unattractive, and JR needed to order his priorities. She suggested he strengthen himself and then prove that he was a changed man. Though she hadn't known JR long, she believed he was sincere in wanting a second chance. JR appreciated Cara being one of the few to believe that about him. He offered to buy her lunch before they began an afternoon session.
At the Hubbard house, Jesse entered, and Angie asked if he'd had any luck. Jesse remarked that something had happened while he'd been out all night, chasing a lead. "I came face-to-face with a ghost," he said. The doorbell rang, and upon opening the door, Angie faced the same ghost -- Billy Clyde Tuggle.
Angie grabbed Billy Clyde by the lapels and demanded to know what he'd done with her daughter. Prying her off Billy Clyde, Jesse said he'd thought Billy Clyde had been involved, too, but he'd realized that Billy Clyde might be able to help them find Cassandra.
Angie demanded to know if Billy Clyde was still a pimp, but Billy Clyde thought that was a harsh term. He claimed that he protected the damsels like a good shepherd and tithed ten percent to the Lord. Angie cringed, but Billy Clyde offered to put Angie's mind at ease by having someone vouch for him.
Later, Billy Clyde arrived at the bar and reminded Ruby that they were going with the script they'd rehearsed. Ruby guessed it was the one that would get the chief of police to shut down the strip club that had been taking Billy Clyde's business. She wondered why he couldn't shut them down himself, but Billy Clyde warned her to keep her mind on her best assets and stick with the script.
Jesse and Angie arrived, and Billy Clyde introduced them to Ruby Marie Delight. Angie asked if Ruby knew where her daughter was. "Do I?" Ruby whispered to Billy Clyde. Billy Clyde said she didn't, but she could give Angie ideas on who had the daughter. Jesse decided to take Ruby to a table to talk without Billy Clyde.
Angie told Billy Clyde that if she learned that he'd been involved in her daughter's disappearance, she'd pay someone to throw him in the river and make sure he'd never make it out. She doubted that Dixie, his kidnap and attempted rape victim, would buy his saved routine.
Jesse returned with Ruby and pulled Billy Clyde aside to berate Billy Clyde for taking advantage of Jesse's grief to get Jesse to shut down Billy Clyde's competition. Billy Clyde feigned naïveté, but Jesse said that until Billy Clyde had some cold, hard proof about who'd taken Cassandra, Billy Clyde had better stay away from Pine Valley.
At the Kaslov hideout, Cassandra shivered in a ball on the bed, and other girls lingered in the room. Vlad entered and ordered the girls to clean Cassandra up because a client who she'd impressed wanted her all night long.
Tia, one of the other girls, complied. As she brushed Cassandra's hair, she said that she'd told Cassandra to use the pills to get through the ordeals. Cassandra, however, didn't intend to get through them. She wanted to fight. She insisted that her father, the chief of police, had been expecting her days earlier, and she guaranteed that he had every law organization looking for her.
Vlad returned, threw an outfit at Cassandra's feet, and said to wear it because the client wanted to play games. As he handed out pill cups, Tia whispered to him that she had information for Uri. Vlad grabbed her by the neck and said he'd play games with her "right now."
Vlad hustled Tia out, and another girl, Eileen, handed Cassandra the outfit. Cassandra asserted that she wouldn't give in. She intended to fight until it killed her -- or until she killed them.
In an office, Uri looked at a cell phone photo of Billy Clyde and then slammed down the phone. Tia and Vlad entered, and Tia relayed what Cassandra had said about her stepfather being the chief of police. Uri slapped Vlad. "You told me she was French!" Uri raged. Vlad said Cassandra's passport had been French, and Uri asked if Vlad had any idea of the trouble he'd caused. Uri then announced that they would have to "get rid" of Cassandra that night.
