Lindsay at the Studio
Celebrating a sale of her artwork, Lindsay turns on the radio and begins to dance. Nora walks in and grins. Nora thanks Lindsay for saving her life, but Lindsay quickly turns on Nora and accuses her of keeping both Sam and Bo on a string. Sam walks in and interrupts the argument and Nora leaves. Sam apologizes to Lindsay about not being honest about his past before and keeping his real identity a secret, but Lindsay throws it back in his face, saying she is washing her hands of him. Sam's explains that he was trying to protect her and their children from his father and his past, but Lindsay refuses to accept his excuse and tells Sam that their whole life together was a lie. She goes on to tell him she won't be coming between him and Nora ever again.
Llanview PD
Hank and Bo discuss Bo's findings about Sam and Ben and Bo decides to go to Nora's to have a talk with her about what she knows. He tells Hank he thinks Nora won't ever lie to him again so he might get somewhere with her. Dorian storms into the office demanding to see Bo, but gets distracted when she sees Sykes and Hank pressuring R.J., and she misses Bo's departure.
R.J., Sykes and Hank argue about the lack of evidence or a confession which would pin an arson charge on R.J. Dorian butts in and accues Sykes of having an ulterior motive in going after R.J., but R.J. admits he assaulted Sykes. Hank gets impatient with R.J.'s evasiveness and R.J. tells him he'll answer Hank's questions in a courtroom and not before.
Téa approaches Sykes and confesses she thinks R.J.'s behavior is her fault and Sykes sets her straight. Just then, Hank tells her that he is removing himself from the case and hands it over to Téa.
Dorian visits R.J. in his jail cell and they discuss the fire and Sykes. Dorian turns the conversation around to Viki and Ben and the bloody shirt she found at Viki's. She tells him she saw Viki with a man - the owner of the shirt. Dorian tells R.J. about seeing Viki and Ben together, looking happy and in love and R.J. points out that Dorian has found her means to hurt Viki. Dorian resents Viki's happiness and says she has to even up the score. R.J. reflects on his problems with Sykes, and then advises Dorian to turn in the shirt and be ready to accept the consequences. Dorian leaves and Téa arrives and she and R.J. confront each other about his prior confession. Téa tells R.J. that she is not taking the bait when he tries to make her feel guilty, to which R.J. responds, "Oh, really. Is that why you haven't told anybody?" Téa tells R.J. that their friendship is over and she encourages him to take responsibility for his actions. R.J. says he will not repeat his confession to anyone and Téa walks out. When she arrives in the office, Sykes asks her what happened, and she vows she will nail R.J. to the wall.
At Nora's
Bo arrives and meets the new nanny. When he learns that Nora isn't there, he comes in anyway and picks up Matthew, who's crying. He confides to Matthew that he misses Nora. Bo succeeds in quieting Matthew and Nora walks in and smiles at seeing Bo and Matthew together. Bo gives her the baby and tells her that he is there on official business and proceeds to show a picture of Ben to her, then asks her questions about what she knows. Nora says she has to approach it like a lawyer since Bo's visit is official, and she is not obliged to answer his questions. She does admit that she has never seen Ben, but she tells him to ask Sam about Ben, himself. Bo leaves after they both acknowledge that the rift between them is too wide to cross.
Back at the Llanview PD
When Bo arrives back at the police station, Dorian tries to snag him, but he walks into his office and closes the door in her face. Hank comes in and he tells him about seeing Nora and Matthew. After Hank leaves, Dorian barges in and throws Ben's bloody shirt on his desk, telling him that Viki has the bartender from Crossroads shacked up with her and she has proof. She is surprised when Bo tells her he believes her.
After Dorian insisted that Bo arrest Ben, Bo decided to pay Viki a visit and question her about Ben. Viki said that she recognized Ben as the bartender at the Crossroads, but she didn't know where he was. Ben and Viki later wondered how Bo found out about them and hoped that it wasn't from Kevin. In Florida, a frightened Blair experienced another dizzy spell and asked Max to stay with her. Kelly went to Joey for comfort after she learned that both Max and Blair were in Florida. Joey then reminded Kelly that she and Max were not committed to each other. Lindsay felt guilty when she imagined that Andrew knew about Bo's fertility test. Andrew realized that Lindsay was hiding something and offered to listen. Nora believed that she may have found Renee's son via the internet. After Nora left Renee, Sam encouraged Renee to set up a meeting with the man.

The Courthouse
R.J. is brought into the courthouse with a bailiff and Hank. R.J. tells Hank he can't be objective so he's put Téa on the case. R.J. scoffs at Téa's objectivity and the fact that his fate is in the hands of his court appointed flunky. Hank tells him his attorney is no flunky. R.J. goes into court and finds Sykes and Téa waiting for him. Téa asks to speak to R.J. alone. Hank objects but R.J. wants to hear what Téa has to say. Téa asks him if he thought about what she said. R.J. asks to be reminded. Téa tells him that if he confesses to arson, she'll see to it that he gets a fair shake. R.J. says he made the only confession he intends to make. Téa walks away.
Sykes leans over and tells Téa that they can still drop the assault charge. Téa refuses, she wants R.J. to stay in jail until they can charge him with arson. The hearing begins, but R.J.'s attorney has not shown up. R.J. offers to represent himself, but his attorney shows up, it's Nora.
Nora's Office
Renee rushes into Nora's office and is surprised to find Sam there. Sam tells Renee that Nora had to go to court. Renee is nervous and excited to be meeting her son and speculates about what he would be like. Sam tries to reassure her, but Renee wants to get all of her emotions out; how will her son feel about her? A man comes in dressed in cowboy garb, champing at the bit to meet his Mama. He asks if that would be Renee?
The Banner City Room
Kevin comes in and finds Grace sitting at her desk. He tells her he wants to talk to her about Ben Davidson. Grace thinks Kevin wants to help her find him and stop him, but Kevin is hesitant. Grace thinks Kevin doesn't believe her. Kevin wants more proof. Grace blames Mel's death on Ben. Kevin asks her how she knows this is true. Grace tells Kevin she thought he trusted her.
Viki's Attic
Ben is packing his things and picks up his black book. (Ben has gotten his hair cut. When did he have time to visit a barber?) Viki comes into the room. Ben thought she had left for work, but Viki knew he would leave. Ben tells her he can't put her or her family in anymore danger. Viki thought he would wait a while longer, but Ben tells her there is no more time. Kevin doesn't trust him, but Viki doesn't think he turned him in. Ben disagrees, but Lovestruck Viki says Kevin knows how she feels about him. Ben protests, but Viki begs Ben to stay. Viki says she is afraid what will happen to him and says she will talk to Kevin. She again begs him to stay until she talks to Kevin.
The Courthouse
Bo is about to go into court when he is stopped an officer telling him the search warrant he asked for has been approved. Bo tells the officer to grab his coat.
Florida
Blair flounces into the living room announcing she feels "mahvelous." Max tells her he can't believe she passed out. Blair tells him not to make too much out of it, she asked him to stay because she was scared. They both start talking about going to the doctor to get the MRI and start to disagree. Max tells her Starr deserves to have her Mother. Blair says if she does have something, she wants to live it out. Max tells her he's taking her back to Llanview and he'll do whatever it takes to get better. Besides she's too damn mean to die and he wants her in his life. Blair asks him if that's true, how could he do what he did with Kelly? Max says maybe it's because he's a jerk, or maybe she drove him to it. They re-hash old battles (the newspaper, making him play puppy dog), and then Max tells her that he's made reservations for them to go back to Llanview.
The Banner City Room
Kevin tells Grace that she's telling the truth as she knows it. Kevin says he can't call Ben a criminal without hard facts. Kevin asks her about when her father died on the operating table; who laid the blame on Ben? Kevin wants to talk to Grace's grandfather; why were they so afraid of the Davidson's? Grace doesn't know. Kevin asks if it's possible that her grandfather was lying to her? Grace denies it. He then asks if it was her grandfather's idea to get the job at the Banner? Viki suddenly interrupts. Grace tells Kevin to consider his sources.
Viki attacks Kevin and asks what decision he's made. Kevin says he's been thinking about it since he saw Ben and Viki. She sarcastically asks him what conclusions he's come up with, and did it include telling Bo? Viki tells him that Bo showed up at the house; did he betray her to protect her?
Nora's Office
The cowboy asks Renee if she's his "Mama"? Renee introduces herself as Sam looks on. The cowboy tells Renee he has a whole passel of questions and Sam has him sit down to tell his story. Roy (the cowboy) explains his tale of adoption and how much his parents loved him, but never told him he was adopted. Renee is happy to know he had a happy childhood. Roy goes on to say he always wondered why his mother gave him up. Renee says she gave up her baby to give him a better life. Sam interrupts and says the facts haven't been established yet, but Renee has a strong feeling about Roy. Roy says he knew the minute he got the message from "aliens." Renee is shocked.
The Courthouse
Téa is questioning Sykes about R.J.'s attack. It's Nora's turn to cross-examine and R.J. is quickly filling her in on his version of the events. Nora tells R.J. that Hank is paying for his defense and that's what he's going to get. The judge prods Nora and she gets up to cross-examine. Nora nails him immediately on the fact that Sykes has a history with R.J. Téa objects, the judge over rules. Nora continues on about Sykes wrongfully arresting R.J. for murder. Téa objects. The judge overrules (are we beginning to see a pattern here?). Nora again asks Sykes how many times he's interviewed R.J. about the fire at Indigo. Téa objects and says it's a case of assault. Nora says it was provoked assault and continues her questioning of Sykes. Nora goes on to ask Sykes about the evidence of the case. Téa objects. The judge shoots her down (where did this girl go to law school?). Nora continues to show Sykes's harassment of R.J. and when Téa objects yet again, so does the judge. The judge objects to anymore drain of the taxpayer's money, and says that Sykes obviously had a grudge against R.J. and drops the charges. R.J. chortles, the judge is not amused. The judge admonishes R.J. and issues him a warning. The judge excuses Sykes and dismisses the case.
The Banner City Room
Kevin tells Viki that he didn't call Bo. Viki is relieved but asks him what stopped him. When Kevin says he isn't sure, Viki tells him it was instinct. They both turn to see Bo enter the room with an officer. Bo serves Viki with a search warrant. Viki can't believe after all the years of friendship (never mind the fact that she behaved like a twit when he visited her earlier) he still wants to search the house. Bo tells her he has respect for her, and this was why he wanted to tell her in person. Viki is shocked. Grace looks on from her desk.
Nora's Office
Sam is questioning Roy about the aliens. Renee looks on in disbelief as Sam goes on to ask about any paperwork regarding his adoption, but Roy says he never saw any. Renee looks stricken. Sam tells Roy that maybe the aliens gave him the wrong information and gracefully dismisses Roy. Renee begins to cry and Roy goes on his merry way. Sam comforts Renee and tells her he's sorry. Renee can't believe she was so gullible. Sam makes a joke about the space aliens, and Renee breaks down. As Sam continues to comfort her, Asa walks in and surveys the scene.
The Courthouse
Téa tells R.J. it's far from over. R.J. expects that as long as Sykes and Téa are a couple, he expects to be hauled in again. Nora interrupts and tells R.J. to stay out of trouble. Téa warns R.J. and starts to threaten him. Sykes drags her out of the room and as Téa continues to rant and rave, Sykes plants a kiss on her.
R.J. asks Nora why she helped him, and Nora tells him she did it for Hank. R.J. says that Hank thinks he set fire to his club. Nora says that if he did, he did it not knowing she and Lindsay were in the club. As she excuses herself, Hank thanks her (I'd like to take this moment to say that I think Hank sucks as a friend. I realize he and Bo are friends, but he was married to Nora, and had a child with her. The fact that he hasn't been there for her is beyond me). As Nora leaves, Hank tells R.J. he must be pleased with himself. R.J. tells him to think what he wants; they'll never be able to prove anything. Hank says he doesn't know why he tries. R.J. says he'll never be able to live up to Hank's expectations. Hank tells R.J. not to skip town. R.J. says he wouldn't think of it.
The Banner City Room
Kevin says he can't go with Viki and Bo, there's trouble in the "shop." As Kevin goes by Grace, she asks him what's going on, but Kevin brushes her off. Viki tells Bo there are a few things she has to do. Bo asks her if they can wait, but she says they can't,after all she has a newspaper to run (what about all that time she spent messing around with Ben?). An officer follows Viki to her office. Meanwhile, Grace calls her Grandfather and gives him a heads up about the search warrant and Ben's possible whereabouts. Hugo tells Grace to stall them; he's on his way to Llanfair.
Florida
Max tells Blair he'll be there with her through the MRI. She expresses her fears about the MRI and is afraid of what they'll find. Max tells her he'll have a scan, too. Blair tearfully thanks Max for his support and he gives her a comforting hug.
The Banner City Room
Grace approaches Bo and tells him she's sorry she can't dance with him on company time. Bo thanks her for the dance they shared. Grace asks him what's going on, but Bo avoids the question. Bo asks her about Hugo and Viki enters the room with the officer. Viki goes to make an outgoing phone call and the officer stops her. She looks at him in disbelief and Bo asks her if she's ready. Viki says she wants to get it over with.
The Attic at Llanfair
Ben is reading when the doorknob to his room turns. Ben watches the doorknob turn in anticipation of who it might be.
The Courtroom
Téa tells R.J. not to mess with her. Téa continues to threaten R.J. telling him she's waiting for him to make a mistake; she'll nail him for whatever she can get him on. R.J. tells her he loves a good challenge. (Téa needs to take a chill pill).
Llanfair
Viki says it's a new experience for her to have her home searched. Bo asks if Jessica is at home. Viki tells him that no one is in her house, but suspiciously asks Bo where he's going as he goes up the stairs. Bo tells her he likes to start in the attic first and Viki follows him up the stairs.
Nora's Office
Asa accuses Sam of hitting on Renee. He issues a warning to Sam and Renee stops him. Asa is jealous and continues to rant. Renee warns Asa again and Asa asks Sam what's going on. Sam tells Asa to ask Renee. Renee tells Asa that it doesn't concern him. Asa tells her he wants to lay down some rules, if they get married, he doesn't want him within a mile of any Rappaport, including Nora.
Llanfair
Bo pulls his gun and Viki asks if it's necessary. Bo says if no one is in the room, it won't be necessary, unless she'd like to ask Ben to come out? For someone who insists no one is there, Viki is hyperventilating. Bo kicks open the door, the room is empty. Viki is stunned to find Ben gone.
Kevin urged Grace to be sure her information about Ben was accurate, but Grace refused to drop her vendetta against Ben. Later, Grace told Hugo that she couldn't go through with their plan. At the police station, Viki admitted to Bo that she cared deeply for Ben, but didn't know where he was. Viki tried her best to convince Bo that Ben wasn't dangerous and begged Bo not to hurt him. Viki then blasted Dorian for turning Ben into the police. Sam admitted to a distressed Viki that he didn't know where Ben was either. Viki suddenly realized where Ben might be and rushed out. Viki was later relieved when she found Ben and Kevin together at the Millhouse. At The Palace, Hugo decided to get to know Dorian better after he heard her mention Ben's name. Lindsay and Bo had some fun coaching opposing kid's basketball teams at the community center. Lindsay agreed to have dinner with Bo, while things started to heat up between Sam and Nora.

Todd's Penthouse
Téa and John walk into the penthouse with her bags and she looks concerned about moving back there, there are good and bad memories. She is saddened by the place and cries. John tries to comfort her as she reflects on past memories about Todd and Starr. She remembers saying she was going to make her mark in this town. John agrees that he thought the same thing. He says that Téa taught him about ambition. They kiss as she walks away from him and gets her bags and says no one will interrupt them. They kiss as they walk up the stairs. Soon after they disappear, the door opens and Blair and Max and Starr come in with their bags.
Nora's House
Sam has picked up Nora and carried her to the bedroom and says he has waited a long time for this moment. They hug and kiss with endless passion for each other. She murmurs his name as he takes her clothes off. Nora is in heaven and so is Sam. They kiss and then proceed to make love. Sam says he waited years for her, 20 years. All of a sudden the baby wakes up and they laugh.
Country Club
Hugo says hello to Dorian, he overheard a toast that Dorian made and thinks they have something in common. And what would that be, says Dorian. Ben Davis, Hugo says. Viki is the person you want to talk to, she's shacking up with Ben, Dorian tells him. I don't like Ben either, Dorian says. We have something in common, Hugo says.
Millhouse
Viki is pleased that Ben is safe. She tells Kevin, I am sorry I doubted you, thank you. Ben and Kevin have joined forces.
Penthouse
Max is glad Blair had a key to the place. He will pick her up and take her to the doctor's in the morning. He's worried about her, he will be with her. She hugs him. Do you have to go, she says. She goes to check on Starr, but stops. Oh, two low-lives have broken in here, she says, as Téa, wrapped in a sheet, and John come down the stairs.
Country Club
Revenge can be sweet, says Hugo. And what did Ben Davidson do to you asks Dorian. He killed my son, says Hugo. Dorian says, I knew it, I knew he was a criminal. And Viki is responsible for my husband's death. Hugo is familiar with Mel. Maybe we have met for a reason, to help each other, says Hugo. Viki must pay and I won't rest until she pays, Dorian declares. Two great wrongs must be set right, says Hugo. He questions her about Ben and Viki. You're not the only one who is after Ben, says Dorian. Viki is the key to finding Ben. Viki would throw herself in front of a train for Ben. We have a lot in common, says Dorian.
Millhouse
Viki and Ben kiss as Kevin walks into the room. Viki asks Kevin, why did you stop trusting Ben. I got clocked over the head and then Ms. Monroe said that you killed her brother, Kevin explains. The man died in his office on the operating table, says Ben. Her grandfather is here in town, Kevin informs Ben. He killed my father if he is the same man, says Ben. There's a knock at the door, it is Grace.
Nora's House
She carries the baby into the room with Sam. Sam says, I have waited 20 years to make wild passionate love to your mommy, Matthew. Maybe Matthew is trying to tell us something, says Nora, maybe to wait and not rush into things. We should talk about things, says Nora.
Country Club
Hugo and Dorian talk about Viki and Mel. Viki must pay, says Hugo. Dorian agrees. She must pay and Ben as well. How far are you prepared to go he says, it could get nasty and deadly. Dorian could care less. She has fantasized about violence towards Viki. She wants to avenge Mel's death.
Millhouse
Grace says, what proof do you have that Ben is not guilty. She is upset, she trusts her grandfather. Why are you so upset, says Kevin. He wants to leave there and go somewhere else to talk. They leave as Viki and Ben come out of their hiding place. Her grandfather might be a danger, they worry. Kevin has been attacked once and Ben says he doesn't buy Grace's innocent act, Grace could be leading Kevin into a trap. He leaves Viki as she says, no, don't go. Ben is going to help Kevin.
Penthouse
John and Téa are putting their clothes on. Blair says Todd gave the Penthouse to me. You and Max have to go, Téa insists. Max intervenes and says, Blair, you have bigger fish to fry. Téa says Starr can stay, but Blair won't leave her there. While John is giving Max a hand with the bags, he tells Max that the Club has burned down, there was a fire. Max says how bad and was anyone hurt. What about R.J., is he okay. Téa says, ask R.J. Max and Blair leave.
Nora's
Sam says, are you asking what my feelings were when we made Matthew? We have always been honest, says Nora. They are reflecting back on the past, she loved Bo so much, she wanted to give him a reason to live and she had other feelings, she wanted Sam then. When he came to Llanview with the tickets, she wanted Sam then, too, even when she loved Bo so much. Until they made Matthew she had guilt, she had to hide her feelings for Sam. Are you saying that if we make love tonight, you might have guilt for Bo, Sam asks. She wants it to be right when they make love.
Millhouse
lt's too dangerous for you, Viki says, Hugo is out there and Kevin may be in trouble. Viki wants to help Ben with his problems. Dorian calls Viki and says you have to come over here to the hospital, Jessica has gone into labor and she needs you. Viki is going to Jessica now, she is weeks early. Ben wants to go with her. Promise me you will stay here, says Viki. Ben says, take care of yourself. We have set the trap we only have to wait for the prey, says Hugo.
Penthouse
Are we alone, says John. Téa and John are having wine by the fireplace, they kiss and listen to music as the doorbell rings. Maybe its Blair, says John. I will get rid of her, says Téa. But it is Roseanne. She is moving in there with Téa, she informs Téa as she walks up the stairs with her suitcase. Téa is in shock and laughs.
Country Club
Grace tells Kevin she is sorry about barging into his house. Why do you think Ben did not kill my father, she asks. Ben could have saved him but he didn't, it was murder, Grace insists. Who told you that, Kevin says, your grandfather. You think my grandfather is a horrible person, says Grace, and wants to know who's turning Kevin against her. No one, says Kevin. It was Ben, she accuses, you have seen him. Even if I did I couldn't tell you he says. Let me talk to him, she says, my grandfather was right, Ben is turning everyone against us. She walks out as he calls out to her.
Hospital
Dorian meets up with Viki in the parking garage and tells her Jessica is not in labor as Hugo comes up behind her and puts a cloth on her face. Dorian says, I got you.
Nora's House
Sam says, we came together for a reason, we have something special. We have to start believing that, Nora agrees. He has never been happier in his entire life. He has it all. He can wait for lovemaking, he's the 20-year guy.
Millhouse
Ben says come on and call Blondie, anxiously waiting to hear something from Viki. Someone knocks on the door. Ben has his gun ready and in walks Kevin. Kevin says, what's going on, where's my mother.
Hospital
Dorian and Hugo have put Viki into the trunk of a car. Shall we, Hugo says. Viki is in for a bumpy ride, says Dorian.
