As reported by Soap Central last fall, GH previously released a collection of episodes dedicated to Sonny as a father. To read more about that, click here.
With its bank of new, pre-COVID-19 episodes coming to an end, GH began airing classic episodes on Monday, May 25, when the show kicked off three weeks of Nurses Ball moments that continued to June 12. The next week of throwback episodes, which began Monday, June 15, featured Carly and Sonny's romance, while the week of Monday, June 22, was dedicated to loving moments between Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco).
Soap Central will be providing recaps for all of the classic GH episodes that aired before the Internet Age, and you can read them in our Daily GH Recaps Archives. That's also the place to check out recaps for any soap opera episode that has aired between 1996 and the present day.
At this time, it's unclear when General Hospital will resume production and bring new material to viewers. Measures set forth by California allowed shows to start filming again on Friday, June 12. The Bold and the Beautiful resumed production last Wednesday -- becoming the first scripted U.S. television program to do so -- but had to hit pause just one day later to work on its coronavirus testing protocols. The Young and the Restless is reportedly eyeing Monday, July 6, as a tentative date to get back up and running.
