Carly began to breakdown as she told him about the ordeal that she had endured trying to save Robin's life.

Carly sat in the chapel and prayed for Sonny. She lit a candle and asked aloud if she should read the vows he'd written. On one hand, reading the vows could help her picture Sonny saying the words, which would convince her that he would one day say them to her for real. On the other hand, she wondered if reading the vows would be the "first step in letting go." She decided that she wanted to know what Sonny would have said, and she unfolded the paper.

At the hospital, Carly was stunned when she entered the chapel with Sonny and saw Morgan, Michael, and Dante dressed in dark suits and the chapel transformed for a wedding. Sonny looked up and asked if Carly would marry him. Carly's eyes filled with tears as the rest of their immediate family entered -- including Josslyn. Lulu announced that she had Carly's wedding dress. Carly asked how Sonny had managed to pull the wedding together. After Sonny gave everyone credit for helping, Carly happily accepted Sonny's proposal. Delighted, Josslyn dragged her mother away to change into the wedding dress.

At Greystone Manor, Sonny looked forlornly at a picture of Morgan as Jason wrapped up the call and reported that the phone number Sonny had given him had been disconnected. Jason hadn't been surprised because men who did double blind jobs tended to vanish, especially when things went wrong on a job. Sonny insisted that it had been an accident. "Tell me that you don't think I'm the reason my son is dead," Sonny beseeched.
