This episode originally aired June 27, 1984. In the episode, Traci took drastic measures, and Cricket and Danny found her just in time.
At Danny's house, Traci turned on the gas oven and the burners. The escaping gas hissed as poisonous fumes filled the tiny apartment. Traci, sweating and coughing, bobbed her head as she struggled to remain conscious. Gasping for air, Traci's breathing became increasingly labored. After a few minutes Traci's eyelids closed, and she fell over, hitting the floor with a thud.

At home, Victor was charmed when he saw Victor Jr. drawing a picture with crayons in the living room. Victor Jr. greeted "Mr. Newman," and Victor smiled and admired the picture. Victor called it very expressive, and he agreed to explain what that meant after the boy opened a gift. Victor pulled out a wrapped present, and Victor Jr. asked what it was. Victor remarked that there was only one way to find out. Victor helped Victor Jr. open a new set of boxing gloves and put them on.

At the office, Devon confronted Carmen and told her that he was there to talk to her about Dru. Devon agreed that Dru could be intense and that she often had very strong feelings about some things, feelings which also made her a great parent. He told Carmen that the Winterses had made him part of a real family. They had saved him, and they'd given him a promising future. He told Carmen that he didn't want Dru to lose her job, her freedom, or her family. Carmen attempted to interrupt, but Devon continued. He told Carmen that Dru was a good person and that she wouldn't hurt anyone.

This episode originally aired November 15, 1991. In the episode, Jack makes a confession about his marriage to Nikki.
Jack had a flashback to the previous night when he'd walked into the bedroom and yelled at Nikki, who had been on the bed, passed out drunk. Jack yelled that all her drinking was causing blackouts and they would only increase. Still shouting he asked how she could consider inviting his family over for a dinner party. Angry, he picked up a mirror and yelled at Nikki to have a look at herself, but Nikki was completely out of it. All she wanted to do was sleep.

This episode originally aired July 19, 1999. In the episode, Sharon and Nick were awarded custody of Cassie.
Cassie turned to Millie and said she was sorry. Millie assured her that it was okay and prompted her to go on. Cassie recognized that Millie had tried hard and been nice to her, but she'd since learned what it was like to have a family with a mommy, a daddy, and a little brother. Cassie enthused that when the kids at school talked about their parents, she could finally tell them all about hers, too, and everything was perfect.
