Josh Swickard is an actor known for his role as General Hospital detective Harrison Chase, which he's been playing since 2018.
Born in Illinois to father who's a pastor and a mother who's a vocal coach, Swickard attended Glenwood High School and then studied accounting, finance, and Mandarin Chinese at the College of DuPage in Chicago. He decided to leave school and focus on a career in the entertainment industry after he found success as a model via Factor Chosen Chicago and Wilhelmina Models.
Swickard's acting credits include an episode of K.C. Undercover, a recurring role on Liv and Maddie, and an appearance on School of Rock. Before he landed the role of GH's Chase, he was a Soul Cycle instructor.
In addition to acting, Swickard is also a singer and musician who can play the piano and drums. His music history stems from his parents, who both majored in music and recruited their son to join them at the local opera company. He's also a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys rebuilding bikes.
On December 29, 2018, Swickward announced he is engaged to Lorynn York. Turner has studied martial arts since he was a child and also enjoys knife combat, nunchaku, yoga, kickboxing, submission wrestling, and firearms training. He also studied and practiced Muay Thai in Bangkok, Thailand.
